I'd say the mainstream men's teams really took it on the chin:

Men's hockey: 0-5.

Add men's baseball, basketball, and football: 1-8.

Woof.

Despite going 0-5 against Ohio State, the hockey team joined Ohio State in the 2018 Frozen Four where both lost in the semifinals by one goal each.  So, looking back on the 2017-18 Michigan Wolverines hockey season, the question might be whether the 0-5 record against Ohio State should stain the late-season success (10-3-1 from February 2 to April 5). This school has success in the rivalry, but it’s unfortunately all overshadowed by one sport that Michigan has had extremely bad runs in. Damn shame, but that’s the way of the world.

I feel like including track/XC/golf multiple times each for meets with many teams in them kind of leads to an inaccurate picture.

For those sports, I think it's best to just use the Big Ten championship meets.
