I would gladly "trade" a couple for that game on 11/25, and I don't mean the hockey one.
Which hockey one? Hockey lost five times... that's depressing.
Thank you, Michigan Wolverines Cross Country and Gymnastics (10-0 vs. Ohio State in 2017-18 academic/athletics season)!
F- on that report card
I'd say the mainstream men's teams really took it on the chin:
Men's hockey: 0-5.
Add men's baseball, basketball, and football: 1-8.
Woof.
Redundant saying men's baseball and men's hockey. Women don't play baseball and we only have men's hockey.
Here's where I would've embedded the video for Weird Al Yankovic's Word Crimes, if only I knew how to embed videos in MGoBlog 3.0.
Because I can't edit my posts, here's what would've appeared at the little red x above:
So I guess we should add more women's sports.
Powder Puff football, anyone?
Despite going 0-5 against Ohio State, the hockey team joined Ohio State in the 2018 Frozen Four where both lost in the semifinals by one goal each. So, looking back on the 2017-18 Michigan Wolverines hockey season, the question might be whether the 0-5 record against Ohio State should stain the late-season success (10-3-1 from February 2 to April 5). So great to have success in so many sports across the board. Lots of talented young men and women out there!
Mostly men
This school has success in the rivalry, but it’s unfortunately all overshadowed by one sport that Michigan has had extremely bad runs in. Damn shame, but that’s the way of the world.
But what about the League of Legends scores?
Thanks for the summing up WD. Beating Buckeyes is always a good thing.
Hockey and football have lots of improving to do in this regard.
I feel like including track/XC/golf multiple times each for meets with many teams in them kind of leads to an inaccurate picture.
For those sports, I think it's best to just use the Big Ten championship meets.
