Where'd you see that?  Seems the most credible info on the whole situation right now is Harbaugh interested in NFL, Raiders seem to be the team he's talking to, UM has offered some sort of deal, Harbaugh may or may not have stopped speaking to UM since the deal was offered.

Wish people would leave links to their sources with info like this

Raiders Report Mitchell Renz

@MitchellRenz365

Just heard from a reliable source that Jim Harbaugh didn’t show up to a meeting to discuss his future contract with Michigan. Also heard the Raiders have their eyes heavily on 1 candidate. All I’m saying is don’t be surprised if Harbaugh is the Raiders HC

Remember how much Harbaugh hated coaching for a jerkweed like Jed York? I find it hard to believe he would ever want to coach for another jerkweed like Mark Davis. Also, would a devout Catholic want his children to grow up in Sin City? Also also, Harbaugh doesn’t strike me as a guy who would just blow off a meeting.

What about the Rooney Rule?  Wouldn't that make the concept that the Raiders are deep in contract negotiations with JH impossible?

Or do NFL teams just ignore the Rooney Rule these days?

I hope he stays. I have been believer and want to see him take us to the next level and become a legend here. That being said, I would understand if he left and frankly how must the fan base treated him prior to this season I am not sure we deserve him.

He had a losing record against rivals he out-recruited, zero wins against OSU when teams like purdue had beaten them, hadnt finished better than 3rd in a mid tier conference, recruiting was on a clear downward trend with multiple underwhelming classes in a row, and he had clear issues with a system that wasnt (in the moment) getting fixed.

5 million a year and he essentially had failed at pretty much every goal Michigan had.

He took over Michigan coming off one of its worst streaks ever and had to overcome peak MSU and OSU programs. He almost immediately got us contending for a position in the playoffs and sans 2020 had the same record as Notre Dame during the same stretch. He constantly has adapted, evolved, and improved.

The reporter may have deleted the tweet but I get the impression that the smoke is real. I know G. Henson gets a fair amount of hate around here but he seems to have a couple of placed sources that have had some insight into the happenings of Jim Harbaugh in the past. He says that JH has reached out to NFL teams and could very well bolt if the university is unwilling to get behind an NIL program.

Harbaugh is the bulwark against CFB death for Michigan, this simply has to get done and Harbaugh will never have more leverage to get a coherent NIL program for The University of Michigan.

Here is a link to his latest post. It's worth a read.

People get defensive when politics are brought up but honestly much of what he writes is what people here say they don’t like his snide remarks he throws in about “the left” and frankly it doesn’t even fit at times it’s like he feels the need to throw in random political jabs.

BUT…the essence of what he is usually saying isn’t far off what most here also believe.

he’s also way, way off on a lot of stuff.
