Raulerson to UCLA
So, now what does the OL look like next year?
Potentially looking at two new starters.

I think those Kalis whispers will probably die down now

Or someone from the 2013 OL class could actually step up. Either Kugler or Dawson.

thought it was highly unlikely Ross would accept a guy right out of undergrad. But I highly doubt UCLA Anderson would accept him either. Anyone know if he's been accepted to the MBA program there?
January 25th, 2016 at 3:37 PM ^
By all accounts he has not been accepted to UCLA school of business yet, but if he doesn't get in sounds like the UCLA folks convinced him that the School of Applied Economics is a good back-up plan...
January 25th, 2016 at 4:43 PM ^
That's what the people at Ross (before it was Ross) told all of the kids in my class that couldn't quite understand Accounting (me included). "Don't worry, dumb kid, the world needs Econ majors, too..."
January 25th, 2016 at 3:51 PM ^
Then why do I have multiple friends already accepted to Ross after just 3 years at UofM ?
January 25th, 2016 at 4:00 PM ^
Ross MBA? I can't imagine that.

Likely BBA or she has a glut of work experience before getting her BA.
January 25th, 2016 at 4:55 PM ^
January 25th, 2016 at 5:03 PM ^
There are typically a handful of them with few to no work experience each year, but they generally need to be exceptional candidates in other ways and usually have something other than work experience that they can bring to the table.
January 25th, 2016 at 7:52 PM ^
Even beyond work experience the MBA culture is vastly different than undergraduate culture at Ross (or any MBA program, frankly). You're talking about a group of people mostly between the ages of 26 and 30, many of whom have spouses or kids, and all of whom have very different priorities and life experiences than someone out of undergrad. It's very hard to connect with or relate to your classmates when you just haven't spent any time out of college (almost similar to adults going back to school when they're older, just the reverse situation)
I went to Ross 2 years after graduating, which made me the 2nd or 3rd youngest person in the MBA program and even then it was a bit of an akward cultural fit at times. No matter how smart and accomplished you are, you'll get more out of the expierneice with a few years out in the real world.
January 25th, 2016 at 5:07 PM ^
Ross has a few one year programs that you can do right after undergrad but they are NOT MBAs.
Either master of management or accounting. The masters of accounting is pretty common for anyone with a Ross BBA undergrad who wants to go into accounting.
The masters of management (1 year program) seems like Ross's biggest bullshit offering in my opinion. It's essentially a bunch of kids who were non-business majors that couldn't get good business jobs so they're using the one year program to get jobs that are offered to undergraduates.
January 25th, 2016 at 5:39 PM ^
I'm wondering what makes that a bullshit offering?
January 25th, 2016 at 4:16 PM ^
Because that's not the MBA program?
January 25th, 2016 at 4:24 PM ^
You're full of shit
January 25th, 2016 at 5:10 PM ^
Agreed. Thought he would be coming to Michigan.
I also thought he was a full time starter, but learned differently last week. Now I feel much better about him getting benched at Texas, whatever the reasons were.

Newsome, Braden, Kugler, Cole, Magnuson is my guess.
Kalis, Dawson, JBB as backups in that order. Probably will slide Cole back out to Tackle if an injure occurs there (knocks on wood).

Jim Harbaugh is visiting him with only a few days left until NSD, so he clearly disagrees with you.

Think you might want to base an assessment of character on more than a tweet. From what I've seen on the twitters, lots of recruits and football players in generally talk about getting the money, even though they're not actually getting any now.
January 25th, 2016 at 3:11 PM ^
Well it looks like Harbaugh and Drevno think he is Michigan's kind of guy. No offense to you personally, but I will trust what they think.

I don't think people here are arguing they want to win the wrong way; they're questioning that that's actually the case here.
