I think the joke is on you. Dumb threads like this actually help the site generate money. Every person ensnared in an intentionally dumb thread, and every such person who makes a response about it, isn't any less likely to come back in the long term and generates money for MGoBlog in the short term. Newbies can quickly read the responses to discern that this thread is atypical for the site and that this kind of post makes you a pariah--or gets you banned.

There are plenty of other threads posted to the board that fit your description. Also, this thread was left up instead of hidden and as of just now had over 14,000 views and just hit over 100 comments. I don't think anything was lost besides someone's ability to post from their account. Given the OP's posting history this was probably a good time to take a short break.

Agreed. I don't mean by this post that you took a bad course of action. I just wanted to point out that trolls end up helping the site more than anything else. My post was directed at the OP.
