Rashan Gary recruiting the entire ESPN150 for 2017

Although there are limits to the practice roster in August, I don't think there is any technical upward limit on how many you can have on a team (other than 85 on scholarship) during the season save for what schools will self-impose for logistics reasons. In other words, why not, for we could theoretically accommodate them all somehow even if not all of them would ahve scholarships due to limits.
When asked about Gary reaching out to recruits, coach Freeze stated "You know, its not something I see as in the best interest of students. When you have a recruit, someone who was a top recruit, reaching out to current high schoolers, you have to ask if things have gone too far. I mean, high schoolers, they get enough people contacting them, it just doesn't seem in their best interest to have one more voice in their ear. I would be cautious of who's best interest this is in, I mean, I don't want to be in a position where I'm giving recruiting orders to my current players. I just don't think this is good for anyone, I wouldn't mind seeing a rule against this, but for now, its just not something we see the need for".
I honestly could not tell.
Even though this isn't real, I don't want Hugh Freeze to be in a position to give recruiting orders to his current players either. I also don't really want to turn the firehose of recruiting nonsense coming from each coach to a high-level player into a firehouse from that coach and 85 other firehoses coming from his scholarship players.
When asked about Gary, Hoke would have said "Well, I think he shows toughness certainly. He's the kind of guy you want on your team no question. I think he's gonna do some special things this year for us with his versatility and some of that. From a competitive standpoint he's gonna have some opportunities and he's just the kind of guy you know who will work hard and really I think he's gonna take advanatge of it well for us.
YES, I know we wouldn't have Gary if Hoke was the coach. I just like talking like Hoke. It's fun.
