If you're like me, you'll be looking closely at guys as they line up tomorrow. Who's playing? Who's not? Who's THAT, I don't recognize his number?

To address that, and selfishly as a reference point for myself, I'm putting down the projected two-deep on both sides of the ball with jersey numbers (referenced from UM's official roster).

Offense

  • QB - McCarthy, #9 (Davis Warren, #16; Jack Tuttle, #13).
  • RB - Corum, #2; Edwards, #7 (Mullings, #20; Hall, #28; Stokes, #23).
  • WR - CJ, #6; Wilson, #1; Morris, #8 (Clemons, #0; Dixon, #85; Eamonn Dennis, #80; Karmello English, #5; Fred Moore, #3; Semaj Morgan, #82).

  • OT - Barnhart, #52; Hinton, #78; Henderson, #73; Trente Jones, #53
  • OG - Keegan, #77; Zinter, #65; (El-Hadi, #58; Raheem Anderson, #62)
  • C - Nugent, #60; Crippen, #51

Defense

  • DL - Jenkins, #94; Graham, #55; Grant, #78 (Benny, #26; Goode, #99; Iwunnah, #92)
  • EDGE - Moore, #8; McGregor, #17, Harrell, #32 (Josiah Stewart, #5; TJ Guy, #42; Kechaun Bennett, #52; Enow Etta, #96)
  • LB - Colson, #25; Barrett, #23; Ernest Hausmann, #15 (Jaydon Hood, #34; Micah Pollard, #4)
  • CB/Nickel - Johnson, #2; Sainristil, #0; Josh Wallace, #12 (Ja'Den McBurrows, #18; Amorion Walker, #1; Cam Calhoun, #22; Jyaire Hill, #20; Keshaun Harris, #36; Kody Jones, #14; Myles Pollard, #24)
  • S - Paige, #7; Moore, #9; Keon Sabb, #3; Zeke Berry, #10 (Quinten Johnson, #28; Kolesar, #35; Brandyn Hillman, #6; DJ Waller, #13)

Special Teams

  • K - James Turner, #32 (Adam Samaha, #99)
  • P - Tommy Doman, #19
  • KR - Jake Thaw, #26; Alex Orji, #10
  • PR - ??? (I believe the options for PR have been listed above already)

If there's anyone else you are wanting or needing to look up, here's a handy link to the UM roster.

Unrelated to numbers, but I've never heard Sabb's name pronounced before, and wasn't sure quite the correct pronunciation. I checked his bio, and sure enough there's a soundbyte of him saying it himself. So for those like me wondering, it is officially:

Keon (key-on)
Sabb (rhymes with stab)

I got a JJ jersey during the offseason to get him some of that sweet NIL money, so I'm happy he didn't pull a Roman Wilson and change his number. With that said, you do you Roman, make that #1 your own.
