Michigan will run over and over and over again into the one strength area MSU has left.

Michigan will not suddenly explode in the pass game even though three different QB's have set season highs against them.

The game doesn't have to be close but it will be.

Pessimistic me says MSU wins 13 - 10.

Realistic me says it's almost a mirror image of last year's game with Michigan outplaying Sparty and pulling away late. Something like UM wins 24 - 16

UM 27- MSU 10.
I don’t see us running on them any more than anyone else does. However, I also don’t see them getting the ball to move forward, giving M lots of opportunities. I don’t see this game winning any beauty contests either.

20-17 good guys. In a game that feels like it should be 30-10. Patterson does something dumb leading to one td, we get tricked by one of MSU trick plays  for the other. Our offense moves the ball okay, but sputters out in the opponent half of the field leading to three field goal attempts.

The year 2019 eleven month,
From the sky will come a great King of terror:
To bring back to life the great King of the Arbor of Ann,
Before after Harbaugh to reign by good luck.

24-14 good guys, but this is going to be a slog throughout. MSU is running out of gas, but whatever is left in the tank is being used tomorrow. The remaining two games after be damned. Tomorrow is the rest of their season. Period. And they will play like it.

I don't think Michigan trails in this game, and the Michigan defense plays extremely well, but I also think MSU's defense plays incredibly inspired and makes Michigan earn everything. We'll also have those stubborn drives where Harbaugh insists we run the ball into the teeth of a very good MSU front seven, and drives will sputter when they don't have to.

MSU gets one TD off of some BS trickery that everyone seems to see coming but can do nothing about, it sets them up with a short field, and then we commit a turnover somewhere that gives Sparty another short field. But beyond that their offense is essentially held in check. A late bomb to Collins essentially ices the game. But we will enter the fourth quarter and this will be a one score game.

I don't think there will be any postgame shenanigans, but all I really know is that if Michigan doesn't commit turnovers, they should win. Possibly even win handily. If they commit turnovers, especially on a short field, this game is a coin flip. Sparty's got nothing to lose, so I expect to see the kitchen sink thrown at Michigan tomorrow.

I would have predicted a Michigan blowout if Harbaugh hadn't downplayed last year's WalkThruGate.   All the nice-nice about Dantonio makes me think Harbaugh is still a little afraid of MSU, which will result in the team playing tight.  Should have once again publicly called Dantonio bush league, and got the team amped-up to put on a beat-down.

With a hand-wringing game plan, Charbonnet averages 2.5 yds per carry and Michigan wins 14-13.

Or he is just playing nice to bait Mork into a false sense of security. Honestly, Harbaugh is just doing the classy thing you're supposed to do as a coach leading up to the game, but I have no doubt he hates Mork and his coaching staff as much as we do. Don't forgot the MSU coach mocking/taunting Harbaugh's wife after the punt game, I don't think Harbaugh has forgotten that.

17-9 Michigan. We don't really try to score which keeps sparty in the game. They get a couple field goals off turnover aided short fields. We dominate TOP and get a lateish score when their D gets tired trying to prop up their putrid offense.

It will be cold. As far as game I have no idea. Anyone expecting Michigan to blowout Staee will be disappointed.

Michigan wins by 10. Michigan State sets NCAA record for most targeting penalties. Meme goes viral "Ejections with Dignity."

In other news, our friends at maizenblue.com uncovered this hilarious nugget. (It's at the bottom.)

my realist/pessimist prediction:

M:17 state:14 - could go either way. M will be conservative. Expecting a blowout win is setting yourself for disappointment.

If the coaches coach like TRULY FREE MEN and Shea Patterson plays like TRULY FREE MAN - then a 14-10 pt win maybe.

Michigan 31, MSU 13. MSU is dejected. Michigan has some momentum. The game is in Ann Arbor. MSU is riddled with injuries. Typically, Sparty plays like coked-up berserkers for this game, but I dont think Sparty will be hyped for this game. Even Sparty knows defeating Michigan wont save their lousy season. #GoBlue

It all depends on how Shea plays!

If he has an awful day with turnovers, then Michigan 13-10.

If he plays Okayish, then Michigan 31-17.

If he plays like he did much of last season Michigan 52-20.

Overall, I think the defense will play well against sparty!
