Penn State @ MSU football game moved to Ford Field
I guess the aircraft carriers were all booked? CJ Stroud would approve.
Call me crazy, but I wouldn't be opposed to a PSU-MSU and OSU-UM doubleheader at Ford Field on black Friday.
@Putingrad
While I wouldn’t move the OSU game, I would be 100% for always playing MSU at Ford Field (so we never have to go to East Lansing).
What? M v Osu at ford field may be the worst idea I have ever heard of.
MSU doing this is, probably, an attempt to help increase attendance. Michigan doing this would guarantee a far smaller attendance.
They are gonna need MASSIVE fans to generate the MSU trash tornado, indoors.
Will tickets be general admission for $25?
Oh wait, that is the Michigan Panthers. Probably a better product though.
Seems like that would advantage Penn State... Provided Allar is the savior they've been waiting for.
God help them if there is but one tunnel. If Penn State starts throwing PBJ there will be Sparty Irish folk dancing on their isolated members.
Keep the popcorn handy to see who is more aggrieved.
30 years and still trying to make Penn State/MSU an equal to M/OSU. So silly.
This is NBC's doing and imo not a great sign for the future of the TV contract. College games should be played in college stadiums on college campuses.
But have fun with your 10-1 Nittany Lions vs 5-6 MSU game in prime time going up against Alabama/Auburn..
Home field advantage with some crazy late November weather could have been exactly what Sparty needed to upset PSU on a motivated Senior Day.
And it is possible that Michigan will need Penn State to lose that game.
The MSU program seems to be saying that they don't believe that their fans would attend, that the game is one they can't win and some quality television time is an equal exchange.
How about all the businesses in East Lansing and Okemos that were counting on a Saturday game?
What about the term "college football" leads me to believe that college football games should be played on campus?
