Patterson, DPJ, and McKeon holding own pro day independent of UM.
Is it a pro day if no scouts come?
The lack of a Michigan pro day really sucks for them.
They say they’re filming it. FWIW
What sucks even more is how mediocre they played the last couple seasons.

How is he an asshole for telling the truth?
My bad it was on ESPN originally but also https://www.google.com/amp/s/sports.yahoo.com/amphtml/shea-patterson-other-michigan-players-214206762.html

About 5 minutes from me and where my granddaughter plays soccer.

I hope they do well, I’m just not sure what any of them really have to gain by doing it. Between a few seasons of film and combine measurables, I’m not sure what else you can show on video in a private pro day that scouts don’t already know about.

I admire their persistence. Really, I do. And maybe it shows some teams out there who were otherwise on the fence about them that they mean business. But scouts are essentially banned from traveling at this point. What they’ve seen at this point is what they’re going to see. So there’s really nothing these three can show off that they haven’t already shown.
But hey, what do they have to lose? DPJ is the only one of those three who has a realistic chance of being drafted.
OP left out a critical detail
Quarterback Shea Patterson, tight end Sean McKeon and receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones were among the 11 Michigan players who worked out in a virtual pro day held without NFL scouts Friday.
Exactly.
Like many of us dealing with this situation, they've been given lemons. All you can do is try to make lemonade.
Can't hurt to try.

Was it at Shea's favorite golf course???

Can we get a waiver for declared players? Maybe DPJ and McKeon would reconsider

I know DPJ was at the combine but did the other two get invited?
Also never really understood the team pro days (unless you don't get invited to the combine) other than maybe being a little more comfortable in your own surroundings.

Sometimes it's because they were slightly injured during the combine.

Very true. Hope all the boys did well today! Looking forward to watching these guys play on Sunday's. Go Blue!!
For QBs and receivers, it makes total sense to hold a pro day with people who you've had success with previously.
That being said, if I'm DPJ, I don't know if I want Shea out there throwing to me.

Shea isn’t getting drafted so it’s pointless for him ..
Was this 'pro day' held at BGSU? Article just says northwest Ohio.
Patterson might end up being a Propecia salesman.
He could be a protagonist.
He might projectile vomit regularly.
He won't be a pro football player.
