OT: Young Packer Fan's Reaction to Devastating Loss

So innocent... the bike part had me rolling tho just like the mother haha omg...
Some people seem mad at the mother for laughing but I don't think I would be able to contain myself either in her situation.

I sympathize with that young man. I remember watching Michigan lose when I was that age and feeling terrible for days.

I remember feeling like that when ND started 2014's rapid descent to the gates of Hell. I just didn't show it in quite that way.

And even fewer of us have that humiliation recorded and preserved on YouTube for all the world to see until the end of time.
I get parents recording funny moments in their children's lives, particularly ones that those children will probably find a little embarrassing in the future, but putting that stuff up on the internet for all to see? Questionable decision.

I'm sure there were many grown men in Wisconsin crying just as hard

If he were a Lions fan, he would have got up, hugged his mom, and gone to bed, because he would be use to it by the age of 6.

And that 6 year old, 51 years later, would have seen just 1 Lions playoff victory at this rate.

No red or green anything. This tree with special Blue lights and a Michigan tree skirt.
January 19th, 2015 at 10:09 PM ^
but that tree looks anemic, and quite frankly is butt-ugly.
Get a blue spruce instead. There's a tree farm (Adent's Tree Farm, I think) along I-94 near Chelsea that has trees that are actually blue---not Michigan blue, but still blue, nonetheless( I'm guessing they spray them that color). They look a helluva lot nicer than that artificial thing in your picture!

showing obvious signs of severe kidney failure.
if you want a blue spruce, head north. we've got herds of them and i have a saw you can borrow, or i'll send out my sons to get you one.

That's not a tree. That's a sponge you use to wash mugs with.

for the purely theological approach you are taking here to clear up misconceptions about Christmas Tree removal.

my mother always cleaned up the Christmas stuff on New Year's Day right during all the football games. Pissed me off because I had to help and bring all the stuff in the basement when I was trying to watch all the other games on New Year's Day. It wasn't as bad if Michigan was in the Rose Bowl, but if they were playing the Outback Bowl or CItrus Bowl, it was a problem for me lol.

To be fair, when you have a wife that is way into Christmas, tree and decoration removal is a process that extends into January. One of the three trees is still sitting on a table - fortuantely, it is a cheap fiber optic tree that is maybe three feet high. The main tree, however, along with the interior lights, only came down this past Thursday though. It happens.
January 20th, 2015 at 9:21 AM ^
Not to mention, if you have little children, taking down Christmas decorations can be a bit of a traumatic experience for them.
January 20th, 2015 at 10:55 AM ^
I just took down the lights last weekend and took the tree down as well. This was all to the heavy sighs of my wife - I'd take them down in the first week of January, but she likes them up for a couple more weeks.
At the end of the day, it isn't hurting anything to see them for a little bit longer. I still don't understand the anger people display when Christmas stuff is visible before or after they are expecting to see it.

Could be a Clinton-Dix jersey.
For a second when 21 got that pick I thought that he didn't have to jump 15ft in the air for that one... Then remembered # 2 is a Raider.

This is quite literally the exact opposite of my nephew yesterday. He was crying almost start to finish in the second half and then completely reversed the last 6 minutes. It was the only entertaining part for most of that game for me, I could not contain my laughter at him and had to step out a couple times.

If you read the comments; a Seattle coffee shop (Voxx Coffee) is sending the kid a free bike in return for a video of him riding it around. So looks like the kid is coming out on top.

I live in Appleton, Wisconsin, about 30 minutes south of Green Bay.
It wasn't a pretty sight at work today.
January 19th, 2015 at 9:56 PM ^
Appleton is a nice little town. Home of Lawrence, yes?
January 19th, 2015 at 11:20 PM ^
Correct! And I'm always amazed at how many people in Michigan know about Appleton or know someone who lives here. It's no Ann Arbor, but it's a nice town that has a little bit of eveything you need.

is that back-up tight end fro the pack that let the onsides kick bounce off his face mask. that guy should be on suicide watch. he didn't even touch that ball with his hands, he basically head-butted it to the seahawks. thats almost as bad as bill buckner booting that ball down the first base line, lo those many years ago in the world series
