OT: What is Prime doing today? A recurring MGoBlog Series
Just today, Colorado has had no less than FOURTEEN (!!!) players enter the transfer portal.
Thus concludes today's episode of "As The Buffaloes turn."
He wanted the two receivers who left to stay.
I don't think they were high-level players but it's still a P5 program and a brief look at the recruiting profiles of the 14 guys who transferred away show a number of lower-level P5 offers from places like Duke, Utah (though they obviously are better now than when they offered some of the older guys), BC, the Arizona schools, etc.
Prime is going to talk about how he's cleaning out CU and they'll bounce back and start winning but this ain't JSU. He's not going to get some quick-fix FBS guys and steamroll rosters full of FCS kids. It's going to take years before CU is a consistent contender even in a down Pac12 and even if he pulls a Mel Tucker one year and wins the transfer lottery I'd be surprised if he left CU with a shiny record.
Thanks for doing this. I was unsure where I was going to get my seemingly unwarranted Coach Prime hate today.
This is missing at least 9 more Twitter embeds but I'll allow it.
I fully expect Ralphie to play running back.
Gives new meaning to "Turnover Buffs."
This Prime talk is overhyped like hell but I have to admit I love the cowboy hat. He should stick with it.
