Klinsmann's not a good manager. But he does understand what's needed, at federation level, to be successful.

If they'd fired him because he was a poor manager that would have been great. But I think they fired him because they were tired of hearing about the other stuff.

(My evidence for that, besides a gut feeling, is that they hired Arena to replace him.)
