OT: Skeeps or Ricks

Which shitshow college bar did you all enjoy more? And favorite memory from either? Skeeps>Ricks My biggest memory from Ricks was on St. Patrick's Day being in the bathroom and someone left a beer bottle on top of the toilet. For some reason I tried to grab it and it fell to the floor. As I go to pick it up, my hand starts getting wet, because the dude in the stall next to me is 100% missing the toilet. Most of my Skeeps memories involve seeing underage football players be insanely drunk and have usually 4 or 5 females around them the whole time.

Ashley's was my place of choice - on my 21st, I headed there immediately after an exam.

Also, I am a fan of Grizzly Peak (not really a bar) - is it still open?

When I was there, Rick's had $1 cover, $1 pitchers, $1 well drinks and $1 slices until 8 (I think) on Fridays.  A professor who spoke through one of those stoma microphone things was a regular on Fridays at that time.  Of course, Wednesday night at Rick's was the biggest place on campus - $2 pitchers.

Remember seeing blues traveler at ricks in 1991. Had never heard of them but saw a friend on line who got me in. One of the all time epic concerts I've ever seen. Loved Ricks. Ashley's was second choice when I wanted to class it up.

I knew some guys who worked (still work?) at Rick's so that was what I prefered. 

 

Most night's we'd be at Charley's (Trivia every Wednesday), World of Beer (now defunct), or Blue Lep (absurdly long happy hour). I know this is an upopular opinion, but Brown Jug was my least favorite bar. The service was terrible every time I went and the draft beer was always slightly warm.
