OT: Reds in First Place

Where are my fellow Reds fans? First place at the All Star break and an excitement not seen in years. This team lost 100 games last season. This team didn’t win its 50th game until August 27 last season. Before this season, the over/under on wins was 66.5. I’m not saying they’re winning the World Series, may not even win the division. But the turnaround has been remarkable and most importantly it’s been FUN and the future looks promising. Need some pitching help at the trade deadline and I’m sure Mr Castellini will be happy to pay! /s

Living about 2 hours away I went to a reds game around 2008 or 2009 when they played the Tigers.  Quite a few Tigers fans at the game and got to see a Prince Fielder homerun.

I didnt even have to drive to Ohio to go to the game. You can park on the KY side of the river and take a boat with a bar across and it drops you off next to the stadium.

Very fun season indeed, so far! I hope they stand still at the deadline, getting Green and Lodolo back from the IL will be enough of an addition. To connect the reds to a Michigan blog, a most beloved Reds legend who currently calls many of their games is former Michigan shortstop Barry Larkin!

Watching them be led by the youngest and oldest players on the team has been fun.

All of the fans saying Joey shouldn't be activated because he would ruin the chemistry on the team are being a little bit quiet right now.
