Sort of similar story. RVed to Penn State in 2015. Our group ended up randomly tailgating with a group of PSU fans pre-game. One of the guys from the PSU group somehow snuck by security and followed the PSU team down their tunnel and ended up on the sideline the entire game. He stole a game ball to cap off the experience.
