OT: Pistons Back in Playoffs For First Time Since 2009
Good news for us Detroit fans. The Pistons beat the Wizards to quality for the playoffs for the first time since 2009.
Currently we are the seven seed, we are .5 games ahead of the Pacers. But we have played one more game
guy in minutes 1-40 who can't play the last 8 and give him the max. Baynes is an above adequate option off the bench, and an excellent FT shooter. Not sure there's more than 1 or 2 backup Cs in the league I'd rather have, if there even are 1 or 2.

Good win and a great way to get back in the playoffs. They might even get the 7th seed, which would keep them away from the Cavs (who are scuttling a bit but also don't seem all that focused on the regular season).
I was thinking about the Cavs/Raptors situation. Am I crazy to think the Pistons might match up better with the Cavs than they do with the Raptors? Although the talent in Cleveland is clearly superior, I love the Van Gundy vs Lue (LeBron?) matchup in our favor, and Toronto's guards kind of scare me. Either way, glad to see the Pistons back in the playoffs, and I'm looking forward to their hopefully stealing a couple of games in the first round!

Love that guy's game.

Dang it...we're too good to get Brice Johnson.
Maybe Skal Labissiere? Maybe someone who can give you minutes behind Jackson/KCP?

Good year to make the playoffs the draft is weak anyway

the trade that sent their pick to Houston got rescinded because the Pistons didn't like what they saw when they had Motiejunas' back checked out.

Just gave up Jennings and Ilyasova. All the Magic wanted was cap space so they can overpay someone this summer after they strike out on Al Horford.
is a good year to make the playoffs!
the decision has proven to be justified, as Burke is struggling to get minutes in Utah's weak PG rotation and KCP might make one of the league's All-Defensive teams and is averaging 14.5 PPG on a decent TS%.
