Maybe we shouldn’t evaluate what a “top notch college QB” is by what their NFL draft slot/career is.

JT Barrett threw for 9400 yards in his career with a 63.5% completion percentage. 104 TDs to 30 picks. Not to mention another 3400 rushing yards and 43 rushing TDs.

Now I know you’re not implying that’s not “top notch” QB play, simply because he doesn’t translate as an NFL QB. That would be silly.

The over confidence about us vs OSU is foolhardy.  They were a routine FG away from a likely NC last year and some of you talk about them like they are in our rear view…. Stay humble.

The Buckeyes will, most likely, continue to recruit at, or near, the levels they have for the last ten or fifteen years - which is a very high level.

My view is… let the Buckeyes get / sign whoever they do.  Michigan will continue as it has over the past few years - and, Michigan is trending in a positive direction.

Talent is an important element of any team’s roster.  So is commitment, effort, culture, and development.   I like seeing what’s going on in Ann Arbor.

He might end up being great but all Michigan will need to do is come up with a defensive gameplan to slow him down and limit his big plays like they did CJ. Thats years down the road anyway.

Noland is still a great recruit and now this opens up Ohio State to sell a 5-star quarterback next year to come to the program due to lesser competition. Can only see this quarterback recruiting situation as a win-win for them as always when it comes to recruiting. Here's to hoping Day doesn't know how to use him.
