OT or not - Game Day Drinking Thread

Submitted by Mac Attack on
Follow up to our "How often do you drink?" thread, time to have our "Game Day Drinking Thread". Here in south Philly, our pub is still going strong with our regular crowd. Once we get we get it closed up, we will get into some shenanigans throughout the night that will end up in some sort adventure before settling back into the bar to catch the game. I will be drinking Coors Light. What are you drinking this game day?

I'm feeling pretty guilty about drinking after yesterday's thread.

Jeez tonight I've had:

- Ayinger Braeuweise

- Sam Smith Chocolate

- Ninkasi Noir

- Ninkasi Dawn of the Red

- Ninkasi Helles

Next on tap - Ninkasi Total Domination

Problems?  Maybe.  :)

had 3/4 of a bottle of non-vintage sparkling wine at dinner.

Maker's Mark Cask Strength and Weller Special Reserve at home.

Probably beer tomorrow, and lots of it.

Got way to trashed for last nights Bengals game.. Won't be able to eat Skyline rest of season. Hoping to be in better shape by UM kickoff.. Will probably start with Crabbies and then move to some Upslope Craft Lager. Go Blue!

Coors Light is one of the only mass-produced domestic beers I can drink. Thankfully I have moved on to far superior beer. I will be drinking some Great Lakes Oatmeal Stout, various pumpkin ales, and some leftover Sam Adams Octoberfest.

in the U.S.A. too.

Corona is a shitty beer.  Period.

That said, it IS marketed well to the masses.  Beach scenes with energetic scantily-clad young people having fun with Corona in hand?  Call it a win for their advertising department.

Corona is shitty beer but I find it less shitty than Fosters.  I remember back in the day when there wasn't much of a choice for high quality beer as we have today.  Fosters and Labatts were considered some of the best beers on the market.  It's really hard to choke down a Fosters today.

The excitement for tomorrows game is growing! It's a little late out here in AZ for those with small kids, but they are all asleep and I get the controls in anticipation for tomorrow. My parents have my season tickets for the game...wish I could be there but I will be there with a big group come Ohio State...with bells on for the win!!!!

Drinking some Sprite and working hard to get an IPhone 4S up to a sweet jailbroke status. It's an old phone for all you wondering "Doesn't that void the warranty?". Anyway, can't wait for a drubbing of Rutgers tomorrow! Go Blue!

Not drinking. Driving about 500 miles round trip to see the game. Wife and I, both graduated some 40 years ago, use to have season tickets but gave them up about 15 years ago. But we're both kind of excited about this Jimmy Harbaugh guy and his team. Haven't felt this way about Michigan football in a long time. Decided to make the trip.

coffee early in the day to get me going. Might even splurge and have a coke. I have to work today so I can't go all willy nilly, but when I get home, barring some monumental upset I'll partake in some greenery.
