I've been told these are the best shoes ever! Unfortunately when you need them the most they let you down and fall apart.

But on a serious note I had the Michigan Pegasus 36 and they were good, but not durable, and not for distance running. Ran a half marathon in them so my whole outfit was Michigan themed. Didn't go very well :D

I don't mind the Pegasus line. The pair I bought March 2020 were pretty nice and felt pretty comfortable but I never ran more than 6 miles at a time. Kudos on the half marathon. I don't think I could run more than 8 miles consecutively nor do I want to :)

Oh I am a terrible runner haha. I am always working on all of that, but I need as much help as I can get from my shoes. These are good for running 5Ks and such, I just need something more for the long distance stuff.

You are not a terrible runner you are doing it wrong. Balls of your feet, man - how you evolved to hunt prey with your superior cooling system. Your ancestors did not have running shoes and so ran on the balls of their feet. Heel to toe will kill you slowly.

Yeah Pegasus toe boxes have always been too small, the 35s (the last ones I owned) had a really low instep height for me as well. Aesthetically speaking, I'm not a fan of the return to the oversized stripe that was on the Peg 36s

It's not shaming as much as it is the fact that there just aren't enough of ya'll big fellas to make it worth their time to produce the shoe in those sizes. It's about $$$, as it always is with fkn everything. If they could sell a few hundred thousand of them, then I'm sure they'd make them.

I love a lot of Nike shoes but they run way too narrow. I wish they offered widths like some other high end brands.

I have a pair of Michigan Nikes and I have to say, they are not as comfortable as they should be. Wouldn’t recommend.

I can't wear any Nike shoe. Just doesn't fit right. I own mostly Adidas. For golf it's FootJoy and Adidas.

Well, I can't speak to the Michigan ones but I love the Pegasus line. Easily the most comfortable shoes I've owned.

I stated that half-jokingly. But after more thought, i think i stand by that statement! lol
Sketchers are fairly comfortable. I believe they all come with some kind of Dr Schoals (sp?) sole.

I think they are pretty sweet looking shoes but my kids call them dad shoes. So they bought me a pair of Hey Dudes for Father's Day and somehow I'm cool again.

Nike shoes are about as comfortable for my feet as a pile of thumbtacks.
For working out/running I go New Balance and for daily kick-arounds, golf shoes, or work shoes I go with Ecco.

Found ON to be a pretty damn good shoe for general workouts/running. I have two pairs and they are great. Good for wide feet too.
I also still have a pair of Nike Metcons for leg days and then a few pairs of Brooks I go through for running only. I agree that Nike’s aren’t great for the most part though.

Pegasus shoes are ok for walking or running shorter distances (5K/10K), but are terrible shoes for running longer distances. They fall apart fast and do not offer sufficient support. They don't even last 200 miles for me. For running, I prefer Brooks or Hoka.
