I do hate elway for holding out on being drafted. If you are confident in your abilities it shouldn't matter what team drafts you. If you have the chance to play in the nfl you should just be grateful that you have what it takes and go with whoever drafts you. There are a ton of players who would kill to be drafted and have a chance to make a ton of money playing a game. Think about joe selfish a person has to be to say no thanks I don't want you to pay me millions of dollars to be the face of your franchise.

Or you would have been better off with the multiple picks. Obviously this varies by team and situation, but it's usually only worth trading up for guys who are so good a trade is unlikely e.g. Andrew Luck. Maybe if you're one player away or you have a chance at someone like Luck, but that rarely comes up. Almost every trade up is a bust. They would likely be better off taking BPA at #12 and either BPA or Winston at #19.

Said since day one the guy is not an nfl caliber qb and never will. His frame and style of play is not made for nfl. Invest the money wisely Johnny cause nfl career its getting shorter and shorter

If ever there was a professional sports team dedicated over more than half a century to peaking at slightly below mediocre, it is the Lions.

Saying they've made the playoffs 7 times (all wildcard) in the last 24 omits that fact that they haven't made the playoffs and won a game since 1991.

Calling that success is like calling your dating life successful if it's consisted of a half-dozen blind first dates in two decades.

I didn't know what I'd been missing until Seattle (my hometown team since 1992) broke out of the same mold a couple years ago and made pro football fun around here.

The entire city is a shithole. The Cavs trade the rookie of the year who they could have had under contract for years for a temporary stint with Kevin Love. He gets hurt and will probably not stay with the team so they got absolutely nothing out of it. They would be in the exact same position without Love.

The Browns have no idea how the hell to run a football team. Let's draft some more QBs please! Or trade picks of 22yr old potential players for 30+ something glass jaw Bradford? Why the hell would you sign McCown if you were going to trade for Bradford?

The Indians... Lol

Burn it all down.
