OT-Help Wolverine Military Couple Defeat a Spartan Couple to Win a Free Wedding!
This is extremely off topic, but I figured I'd give it a shot.
A close friend of mine is a current senior at U of M and her fiancé graduated from West Point last year; they both grew up in the Ann Arbor area. They entered into Castle Farm's (venue up in Charlevoix County) annual wedding giveaway for military couples (pretty cool they do this for couples who have to sacrifice a lot!). The total value of the winnings is probably somewhere around $10,000, it's a big prize!
The contest ends tonight and is a nail-biter of a two-way race at the top (she's currently in second place by about 50 votes out of nearly 7,000 cast).
We didn't initially know anything about the affiliation of the other couple, but a few days ago we found out she has been posting on several Spartan social media pages and forums with a call to "beat a Wolverine"....therefore, in the name of love, GO BLUE, BEAT MSU! (gotta fight fire with fire!)

Well done young man! The first 5 years are the hardest. The next hardest is when the kids leave the house and you’re empty nesters. No homework help, driving to games/events/friends.

Her father had to sign a document allowing it and sent it to the state. But yea, it's legal under those circumstances.

My wife and I went to different high schools, different universities, but we're compatible types of crazy, so it works out.

My wife and I are both from Pennsylvania. I met her in Florida in my twenties. We grew up 5 hours apart . She calls soda / Pop but we managed to get through that.
