The sheer number of bets is the funniest part of this whole situation.  Considering he was in college for 3 years that means he placed, on average, about 8 bets a day over that span.

I have to assume he was used as a middle-man as part of a much wider array of betting and these weren't all just his personal gambling habits.

This guy bet on games he played in (and I'm sure none of his teammates knew and he never bragged/showed off his money).

Nothing will happen. The SEC won't do anything, the NCAA won't do anything, but Jimmy buys a kid a burger and gets 3 games.

Wouldn't that piss you off? No wonder why he's in the NFL and the SEC will rise again.

The people that don't see the problem with this probably also didn't have a problem with Pete Rose.

I"ve met many people who think Rose didn't do anything wrong, there is no reasoning with this crowd.
