OT: Detroit Sports Sunday

Submitted by Mich_Faithful on

It's Sunday and the Tigers and Lions are playing.  Yes it's suppose to be no OT while football is in session, however these are likely the sports teams many are looking forward to anyways nowadays.

So feel free to use this for both games, at least will cut the OT topics from 2-1.

Detroit Lions vs Buffalo Bills: 1pm

Calvin is active, and waddle will be back this week.

Tigers vs Orioles: 3:45pm (don't blame those who don't want to watchi this either.

Price vs. Norris

Ian Kinsler 2B
Torii Hunter RF
Miguel Cabrera 1B
Victor Martinez DH
J.D. Martinez LF
Alex Avila C
Nick Castellanos 3B
Andrew Romine SS
Don Kelly CF

Also if there are any fantasy football questions, why not let em fly.

Rajai Davis' injury came at the worst possible time of the year. I still believe the Tigers can pull themselves off the mat today, we'll see what happens.

Price will be throwing napalm today but obviously needs to go deep into the game. I worry the chilly weather could be an x-factor there.

Seeing Kelly right after Romine in the batting order just about makes me wanna puke.

that Romine is starting yet again.  Just feel like there's more upside in playing Suarez.  At least there's a chance he'll do something positive with the bat.

Suarez really fell off both offensively and defensively in September, at that same time Romine put up a .300 average and continued to play solid everyday defense.

It shouldn't surprise everyone that Romine is playing, he's been the better player down the stretch.

This would be "allowable OT", so no worries. It is pro sports, and there is a considerable portion of the readership on the blog that also follow the Tigers and Lions. Thank you, however, for making it one thread as I am sure there will be some interesting threads on the board today that we shall need space for.

McKelvin from buffalo go after about 6 lions players and NOT ONE took the bait??? The Jim Schwartz lions would have been all over him! I'm shocked and impressed!
