This is a much better OSU team than the one that lost to Clemson a few years ago. That 2016 team was inferior to the Clemson team they were playing whereas this OSU team looked better than their opponent and still lost so definitely a worse look this time.

Day got Dobbins wide open in the red zone on a swing pass on one drive and a screen on another, but the players screwed up both times (Fields overthrew the swing pass and Dobbins couldn't bring it in, and Dobbins simply dropped the screen). Each should have been touchdowns.

This happens all the time, but if Stroud were to ask for his release because he was sold a bill of goods a bunch of people would call him a quitter and someone who can't be trusted.
At this point we expect more honesty and commitment out of HS seniors than guys paid a ton of money to coach them.

So Ohio State went and lost their big game last night giving us the opportunity to sweep them under the rug for the next 8 months and yet here we are.

Day is essentially the OC and QB coach. Unless he leaves I don't see much of a ripple effect

Oh poor cj he is stuck with a team that wins the big ten 9 out of ten years and has a chance to go to the playoff every year. I hate Ohio as much as you but let’s get real. He went there to win and winning teams lose coaches every year and coordinators every year. It’s part of the deal.

They pulled the same stunt w/Mike Webster. The RB coach at that time bolted for the Chicago Bears right after the kid committed. They have no scruples.
