Orange Bowl Ticket Prices Dropping
The cheapest ticket was in the 700s two weeks ago. Now it is down to $325. I might have to grab two and drive down.

That’s my concern. I got covid after being vaccinated on a 2 week business trip to Miami back in September. Not really concerned about me getting covid as I am shit going off the rails with the teams. They both need to be in a bubble after landing and no extra curriculars. Beach time is fine but nothing inside.

They’ll be fans. If I can get sick as a dog from the OSU game (not covid) then I can watch the game outside in Miami.

Did you allow six rushing touchdowns after getting ill?

No but when I got back to the car I did chug 1 beer for each TD that Haskins scored. A tougher man would have drank 1 beer for each point we beat the Buckeyes by but I had to drive. I kidding. The wife drove.

May not be a game for fans to watch.

seat Geek has tickets for 297.00 right now

Tough decision. I can fly into Orlando and rent a car for half the difference I can fly into Miami for. I thought about a road trip but screw that, 20hrs in the car with the wife and my 15 yr old kid farting all the way through Georgia doesn’t equal the savings.

Ill be flying into FLL..get a airport hotel/FLL is closer to the stadium than MIA looks like plenty of hotels at a reasonable rate withing 8 miles of stadium

Yes, and it seems that the number of tickets on sale is increasing. I'm checking Ticketmaster, SeatGeek and StubHub a couple times a day. You have to watch because the fees are different on each of those. On Ticketmaster you can see there are thousands of tickets on sale.
Less than two weeks out. I'm hopeful that they'll come down some more.

I think they will bottom out the 27th or 28th. There will be no hotels flights or car rentals to be had.

For what it would cost me for good seats for my party, airfare, and hotel I can pay an AV company to tear out my built in wall unit, reconfigure for and buy an 83 in LG OLED to replace my 65.
If the game was not in a place like Indy, I might think about it. As is? No thanks. I'd rather throw a nice party at my house and then sleep in my own bed.
I was born before the lottery was legal. It was called "The Numbers Racket" and run by the mob. They pitched legalization to form the lottery by saying "All the money is going to go to the schools."
Now ticket scalping and betting are legal too. Goes good with the legal hooch. But I'm not sure it contributes to the fans experience.

As much as it hurts to not go I might do the same. Indys only 3hrs away for me and that game being inside may cause lots of folks to rethink going. Assuming we beat uga

Ticket prospectors smart than me,
I'm going. I have a hotel and flights for me and my two boys.
I want to get 3 tickets together, hopefully in a Michigan-dominated section.
I see prices falling. How long do I hold out before getting tickets?
I'm semi, but not terribly risk averse. But I definitely want 3 tickets together, and would like to have them before we fly out on the 30th.

Be careful of 300 level tickets, went to the orange bowl the last time in the Michigan section and they were awful seats.

Huh. Can you tell me more about what the issue is? (fellow Cinci guy, btw)
When sitting in the end zone for these games, I live to be pretty high. I also like to sit up high in the end zone because of the view -- is there something weird about the stadium that makes 300 level endzone seats a bad idea?
