Obama picks Clemson over Michigan?!?
I never thought I would quote Rush Limbaugh, but "I hope he fails." At least as far as his bracket is concerned. Fingers crossed on the economy and all that...

That's it. IMPEACH HIM!
Why don't you keep me updated about his predictions for UM's 2009-10 football season. I'm dying to find out!
Obama's trying to curry favor with the state of South Carolina.
.........we've already got enough proof that he and his administration could care less about Michigan.
........thing for Obama to throw money at.
............ did Ron Paul pick?
Paul doesn't recognize our over-regulated basketball system. He calls for the abolition of referees. Let players call their own fouls.
...with no chance of winning...
My guess is Robert Morris.
....OOOOOSH
also, ellipsis
Hopefully he doesn't call off work those days to watch the games. lol.
You are quick to blame Obama, you can't just erase a decade of futility. It is obvious the Bush administration ran our program into the ground over his two terms. You can't expect Obama to right the ship in only two months.
Soon he will call on the coaches to show social responsiblity and give up any bonuses they have worked into their contracts for making the tournament...
judgement when it comes to selections.
Who could have predicted that this was going to become an annoying political thread? Definitely not me.
I more annoyed that with everything going on, our president dedicated hours to picking the fucking tourney on a big bracket just for ESPN. This kind of cheerleader journalism is destroying the country. Timmy fucking Geithner has no fucking clue what he's doing and Obama is picking an impossible bracket just for show. Fucking Nero.
I misread the last word in your post and got a little confused.

Oh man, if someone doesn't know any Roman history they aren't going to read that the right way.
They should have taken ClCiv 102 when they had the chance. Easy A.

Going on Leno, filling out ESPN brackets... will probably start blogging soon.

Stop going off on a tangent.

... some jack ass would try to hijack this post and turn it political. So many posts were funny, and then you come along and try to ruin it. Go to a news site if you honestly feel so insulted by the president making ncaa tournament selections and post there.

TwoBlue, this thread was about Obama picking against Michigan. What's with the random shot at Bush? He's done, gone, finito. Are you ever going to be able to move along or will everything always be "someone else's fault" with you and the other coolaid drinkers?
And for the record, this administration has already authorized the spending of more money in less than 57 days than the previous administration spent on two wars and a recession in 8 years.
Regardless of which party you slobber over, you're insane if you embrace this "spend what you ain't got" policy. I'll skip the rest of what I had to say about Pelosi and her cronies since I've already jumped off topic myself.

2Blue was using a common Bush criticism of the government in the context of Michigan basketball. It was a joke
You're post, however, was not. Since Bush is "finito," I think it's finally time that the defense of his administration becomes finito, too. Stop fighting old battles. His presidency was a major failure, deal with it.

My favorite thing about the internet is that you can find a polar bear arguing with a smoking monkey about politics on a Michigan football website.
To quote the famous Larry The Cable Guy " That's funny right there I don't care who you are that's funny"

All I have to say is I like when Obama does stuff like this. And whoever above got mad that he "took hours out of his day" to do a bracket is a fool. The whole interview probably took an hour and let's be honest, we all will be taking "hours out of our day" to fill out brackets and watch tournament games in the next few weeks.
Again I like when he does stuff like this and goes to Wizards games and has a few beers and cheers for the Steelers in the Super Bowl.
Nothing wrong with this in my book...
But this isn't he spot. If you want tp make jokes at politicians expense, that's fine, just please no serious political arguments. Its not the place for it and will only serve to devolve this board closer to mlive

I voted for McCain so you have now heard the extent of the politics that I care to discuss on this site (today anyway) but I think that the people that think that Obama should not spend time doing things like this are being a little unrealistic. President or not he is still a man and appearantly he is a man who likes sports. He cannot spend every waking moment of the next 4 years trying to bail out this struggling economy. He is a dad and a husband, believe it or not he is even a human, just the same as any of us I would say that he likes his free time and probably goes to blog sites like this one to socialize in his off time. President Bush Sr. was on vacaton golfing in Hawaii during the first days of the first war in Iraq. That was very inappropriate and should have been done at another time but Obama taking an hour or 2 out of his life to draw up a mock championship game, Why do we really care?

Since we already know his picks for VP and cabinet positions have been god awful, one can guess his bball picks are horrible as well. Should bode well for U of M.
SUCK IT, HUSSEIN!!!!!
Somebody better check and see if Clemson's paid their taxes.
Obama doesn't make many good choices. He obviously didn't consult with his teleprompter before picking.
