NSD Commits/Extravaganza

I saw that the post on Michigan's silent commits, etc. was posted on here yesterday, which is great. I appreciate the links/exposure more than you guys know. 

Posting this here and on Wolverine247, but the thinking has changed from Michigan's perspective. While some may stay silently committed until February 3rd, I think you are going to see a few publicly drop, and sometime in the near future. 

Wanted to post this here since yesterday's scoop garnered a lot of discussion on the board, and it appears that it wasn't 100% accurate.

But I have been told by UM that there will be special signing announcements on NSD. The number given was 4. We shall see.

 

Expecting one non-NSD announcement though. Possibly AD hire or scheduling announcement.

I can't believe the OP would post pay walled info. I am very offended by this as it devalues my subscriptions. However I do not regret any of my subscriptions, in fact I love them.

Thanks Steve. Quick question... I noticed some 247 writer, Brad Crawford, was allowed to post an obviously inaccurate and misleading headline and story about Harbaugh's "Shooter" tweet. Clearly Harbaugh was saying "you don't know the real story" and not "he doesn't care about outside opinion." How do you and Steve W and the 247 MGT let him get away with that? There are plenty of inaccurate posts on the boards but none like this that are allowed as headline stories. I thought better of 247.

By the way you are still the hardest working Michigan recruiting analyst on the web. Keep up the great work.

Do you really not know why? Clicks man. That's all that matters. Some writers pull that stuff to get clicks. Others don't. 247 doesn't care because all they care about is the money clicks generate. It's actually why I dropped my 247 sub. Gave it a try and I have a ton of respect for Lorentz and the work he does, but I just can't give my money to a company that seems fine with a lot of the other site's writers. Not much any of us can do about it except not give them our money.

For those of us who celebrate the full holiday:  WTKA's signing day special is from 3:00-6:00 [live at the Sports Bar Westside for you locals, audio stream for us exiles] and the Players' Tribune live stream from 11-1.  I think this one's video, probably to replace what used to be the live streamed press conference.

I check in regularly. I have a primary account that for some reason now the posts don't show up. So I'm using this one. I rarely posted with my primary account. But I dont think someone who moderates a blog for free all day long can really criticize anyone for how they spend their time. Seriously, though, this OP offered nothing to discuss. Just a plug. I know you all love him, but call a spade a spade.
