NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! We're supposed to "suck", don't let anyone in on the secret!

I think maybe this guy is me, sleep-writing under a pseudonym.  This is exactly what I've been saying only he doesn't touch on the impact freshman may have (Stonum and McGuffie) and apparently I get redundant when I write in my sleep.  Either way it's a good read.  Join the revolution now or be exposed as a poseur later!

Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips Drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins The future is unwritten...

Nice sentiment in that article, but the writer seems a tad off on some things -- like Minor at quarterback. And I think Brandon Graham -- a bit more than Taylor -- will be the key to the defense. Also -- obviously -- linebackers. He's dead on about Lloyd. Just reading Tim Jamison's comments the other day about Lloyd's fascination with the little Brown jug made me sort of glad that he's gone. Not that the jug isn't a great tradition . . . it's just sort of dorky to focus so much on the lore of the thing.

Minor could easily see action in a Wildcat formation- there have been hints about it since spring. And Graham won't be able to do crap unless Taylor's a force that demands a double team. Unwritten?....Is that another jab?

I swear I heard some rumblings earlier in the offseason that this was a possibility for a couple of snaps per game. I think things like that are common in the Big East, so until RR realizes this is the Big Ten and we insist upon 3 yards and a cloud of dust, expect RR to try to be creative.

...i wouldn't be surprise if R2 has some packages that take advantge of Minor at qb. He did play some qb his senoir year here in jowlgia. In fact,if JF dosen't work out or his injured it would behoove R2 to have something ready...just in case.

I don't see a 10-win season, but I think that OSU would be very wise not to underestimate Michigan. Of course, by that time of the year Michigan's offense should already have some rhythm. The defense will be great, of course, but I think that Shafer will have a plan for this game. OSU has a great offense, but he will have some sort of plan to stop them on the ground. He helped Stanford beat USC and he got WMU to shut down Garrett Wolfe. Chris Wells is amazing, so the key is to stop him and I imagine put pressure on Baeiouckman and the secondary should take care of things, plus somehow stop Pryor. As for Michigan's offense...

I was actually thinking about this the other day, and yeah, you guys scare me, if only for the whole "rivalry/records don't matter/1995/1996" thing. Your defense limited Boeckman last year, something even LSU couldn't really do (despite the two picks he had one of the better games any QB had against that defense). So, if our receivers struggle to get open again, and your front seven actually suits up this time around, it will be a battle, much closer than about 90% of Buckeye fans are expecting. As far as the offense, we saw Juice Williams tool all over the Buckeyes last year in that offense's ugly stepsister, and JW didn't start using his mobility until late in the game. So a leadfoot like Threet in the pocket might not be too bad of a thing if you're running the

In the end, I don't see us winning by more than two touchdowns even if we play our best game of year. It's just not the way the rivarly goes.

Are you guys getting Minor and Brown mixed up? There was talk, even under Carr, of Brown seeing a few snaps at QB, but never Minor.

I believe during one of the spring practices this year, they had Minor take a few snaps and word was that he had quite the arm and surprised the coaches. They'll draw up some special plays for him.
