Cool beans, dude.
October 29th, 2010 at 10:19 AM ^
...I prefer my beans hot.
October 29th, 2010 at 10:17 AM ^
Well whatever. We win, become bowl eligible, and see some recruits pick UM.
October 29th, 2010 at 10:19 AM ^
Any bi-partisian, objective, level minded person can look at the match up and see that UM should win this game. He is just trying to rile up the UM fans, he needs any small amount of attention he can get.
October 29th, 2010 at 10:38 AM ^
Or he's picking an upset. It's not like people never pick upsets.
This is non-news.
October 29th, 2010 at 10:58 AM ^
You're absolutely right. people pick upsets. But do you really think that is what he is doing here?
October 29th, 2010 at 11:29 AM ^
Yes. He's picking an upset.
Why does every little media comment/story/prediction have to be "OMG the MSM hatez RR and M!!! BIAS!!! BIAS!!!"?
Regardless of what you think of Drew Sharp, there's no reason to get riled up when he picks M to lose a road game at night in Happy Valley.
October 29th, 2010 at 1:37 PM ^
Outgaining Iowa from the 20 to 20 means we really won the game.
October 29th, 2010 at 3:20 PM ^
Michigan Bender does rule!
October 29th, 2010 at 3:52 PM ^
October 29th, 2010 at 10:19 AM ^
is picking Michigan.
Two bad defenses cancel each other out.
Our #2 offense trumps PSUs #82 offense.
Euchre! I have the Denard bauer!
October 29th, 2010 at 10:24 AM ^
+1 for a Euchre reference!
October 29th, 2010 at 10:27 AM ^
Phil Steele has psu in a close one.
October 29th, 2010 at 1:35 PM ^
more than anything, although he did pick Michigan to beat mspew. I guess hes not always right?
October 29th, 2010 at 10:20 AM ^
My prediction: Drunkeness wins in straight sets.
And Michigan romps. That, or I die a little inside.
October 29th, 2010 at 10:22 AM ^
Drew Sharp is a d-bag. Babies yawn when he opens his mouth or types on the keyboard:
October 29th, 2010 at 10:25 AM ^
Really does this shit actually surprise anyone anymore?
October 29th, 2010 at 10:27 AM ^
Since when does it mean that if you are in some way affiliated with sports (journalist, talk show host, butt scratcher vendor, etc.) then you are competent enough to make "predictions" about who wins? Most of these nut-tards can't form an original thought or opinion, so how can I take them seriously when it comes picking a winner (heh, heh)?
October 29th, 2010 at 11:30 AM ^
Excellent use of butt-scratcher and nut-tard in one coherent post.
October 29th, 2010 at 11:58 AM ^
Thanks! Coherency is what I strive for.
October 29th, 2010 at 10:31 AM ^
Predictions are useless because they have no bearing on the game. If my wife predicts that Penn State will win tomorrow, what does it matter, and why would I care?
Getting upset about someone's prediction is just as useless.
October 29th, 2010 at 11:09 AM ^
I wouldn't slap her...I would slap myself for marrying her. Also Drew Sharp is the demon spawn of Barbara Walters and Al Roker.
October 29th, 2010 at 10:31 AM ^
I predict a Michigan.
I figure that I am about as qualified to make the predictions is Drew Dull is. Hell, I may be more qualified since I, you know, actually watch the games.
October 29th, 2010 at 10:32 AM ^
Steele picked PSU this AM on the Bill King show on Rivals Radio. I was surprised, he's usually pretty solid with his picks.
All of his analysis led me to believe he was going to pick UM, but then he added "night game", "home", "M horrible defense", "PSU in a close one".
October 29th, 2010 at 10:37 AM ^
LOL @ Drew "Dull"
You should know that Drew Sharp is anything but "Dull" LOL

October 29th, 2010 at 10:38 AM ^
My opinion of Drew Sharp can be encapsulates succinctly in the following picture:
October 29th, 2010 at 10:57 AM ^
You can run and tell that, HOMEBOY!
October 29th, 2010 at 11:20 AM ^
They rapin' errbody out here.
October 29th, 2010 at 10:38 AM ^
I've become comfortable with not seeing or mentioning any Freep nonsense here. (I've changed.) I'd rather see that cretin not get any attention that would benefit him or his employer.
October 29th, 2010 at 10:43 AM ^
Let alone listen to him on the radio. Just remember when he made the comment that Michigan should send the band sufficiently obliterated his credibility!
October 29th, 2010 at 11:27 AM ^
October 29th, 2010 at 4:07 PM ^
Obviously, my hatred for Drew Sharp has blinded me to the reality that it was Beano Cook who made that comment. DS has made so many obligatory statements I added one to his list.
Thanks for keeping me in check! :-Þ
October 29th, 2010 at 10:45 AM ^
I shudder when seeing things like "Drew Dull" or "Dumbtonio" or whatever else you want to write. They are all stupid. Please do not use them.
That being said, Sharp is just trying to piss off all of his readers. I really don't think the "Saint Dantonio" outlook is there for Sharp, I think he just has an agenda against everyone these days because he thinks being negative about his readers teams means he's objective. In reality it just makes him a turd and an idiot, so there's that.
October 29th, 2010 at 11:00 AM ^
So we shouldn't use clever nicknames like larson-blow?
/sarcasm
October 29th, 2010 at 11:13 AM ^
maizen-blew...
October 29th, 2010 at 11:35 AM ^
It is a joke. Lighten up. Besides yours isn't clever. You just copied mine.
October 29th, 2010 at 11:11 AM ^

October 29th, 2010 at 5:09 PM ^
You dont think people should call them "Drew Dull" or "Dumbtonio" but you can refer to them as "a turd and an idiot"
Ok....got it.
October 29th, 2010 at 10:58 AM ^
I clicked on this thread thinking Drew Dull was some recruit I hadn't heard of.
October 29th, 2010 at 11:05 AM ^
"Drew Dull" kind of reminds me of Dru Down. Any info on which team he picked?
October 29th, 2010 at 12:15 PM ^
I think he got locked up a while back. Maybe he's out now.
(Insert Sparty joke here. Those criminals!)
October 29th, 2010 at 4:15 PM ^
My initial thoughts were, "Hey, Penn State FINALLY got another commit!" and "I bet Drew Dileo is WAY better than this guy..."
October 29th, 2010 at 11:24 AM ^
Hey, I've got an idea. Let's start a different thread for each "expert" who predicts a Michigan victory or loss. That seems productive.
October 29th, 2010 at 11:32 AM ^
I don't know, two threads /per would seem to be more productive.
October 29th, 2010 at 11:36 AM ^
someone should do a diary that lists the few dozen predictions every week and everyone can rant there.
"35-38 - you must be mad - blah blah"
October 29th, 2010 at 11:35 AM ^
Who care what Stepin Fetchit has to say about anything, the man has no pride.
October 29th, 2010 at 1:42 PM ^
Drew Sharp has a radio show? And you were listening to it?!?
October 29th, 2010 at 4:19 PM ^
I just heard him being interviewed on a local sports talk program.
October 29th, 2010 at 2:37 PM ^
While this game is most likely going to be an M win, can any of the mgobloggers really say they aren't the least bit worried? Illinois and Purdue should have been in the bag last year IMO, and I think the best case scenario is for Rod to have a long career here. If we can just limit our turnovers for the rest of the year we can beat anyone left on the schedule. We can also lose to anyone on the schedule if our offense doesn't perform at a high level. I remain worried until we get win #6.
October 29th, 2010 at 5:02 PM ^
Drew deserves to be called Drew Dull. That's why almost nobody bothers to read him or listen to him anymore. He used to be really funny until he decided he suddenly had odorless feces. Now, he is just....dull.
As for nicknames in general, they are part of life. And the whole nickname thing certainly worked out for the Boomer.
