I heard a rumor that it's Je'ron Stokes, but I have no idea. That's just the rumbling I've heard.

From what I can see Stokes is still a Vol, but now open to visits etc. since Fulmer was fired. I don't think those fan forum things on paysites have any authority behind them, do they?

It's a basketball player.

The person who posted the NEW COMMIT typically follows bball not football so it's not a football player. A bball player makes sense.

for giving us the 411 on who it is. I believe he's from A2 and is a pretty good bball player as well as being a very gifted student.

Dude! I went to high school with him. I graduated two years ago and he was pretty sick. I don't know how well he will do in the Big Ten, as he isn't really tall, but he has the range to hit threes, the strength to bang inside, and he actually played a little point guard situationally. This was all two years ago, but he is pretty good. The team is fantastic and the atmosphere is great at the games. Anyone living in Ann Arbor should go take a look. They also have another kid Michigan was looking at in Josh Herbeck, a Junior.
The school is over on Domino's Farms. If anyon does go, let me know if they are still painting their faces (I started that).

That's weak. I need something positive.

It's a walk on Guard, basketball. I'll look into it, I've, obviously been busy though.

November 18th, 2008 at 8:53 PM ^

He won't get made fun of as much by the scholorship kids.
I think it just means he won't be given a full ride, but has a spot on the team.

A walk-on guard, eh? He may still be able to compete for a starting position at safety next year.
