New Banner

Be honest...how long did it take you to notice the new banner atop the front page?

Another question, will that banner stay the entire football season or will there be yet another banner when the season begins?

It's not a cache issue. http://www.mgoblog.com has the old banner. http://mgoblog.com has the new banner.

Somehow, these were set up as 2 different domains which somewhat mirror each other, but are not the same. If you are logged in on www.mgoblog.com, it doesn't carry over to mgoblog.com.

True story.

Looks great!!!  Love the way Iggy's arms are extending through "MGOBLOG"  The new banner has some heart, some swag and some love....well done!!!

edit:  and after a nice ctrl +shift + alt detour I actually see the new banner hahaha.

It's entirely possible that some users had this banner stored in their mobile browser cache all year, since this Harbaugh banner was previously up. The Charles/Iggy/Teske banner replaced it for a while, but the Harbaugh banner came back a few days ago. The basketball banner may not have ever loaded into your browser ... unless all you "what new banner?" folks just effing with us.

I like this banner and its look/design, but I wouldn't mind focusing on player(s) like the basketball banner did this time. Love the MGOBLOG logo and blue-overlay background.

I prefer the new banner. It's clean and basic. Most attractive logos/etc are clean and basic. Also, while there's nothing wrong when the front page displays a football collage photoshop fueled by mental illness or a psychedelic trip, a photoshop like this one is more ... calming. And sometimes that's nice too.

Right now it's rotating with the old hoops one. Also it's not "new"--that's actually the banner MonuMental designed for the new website for launch.
