This Celtics Heat game is unreal. Watching a zone defense in the NBA is rather intriguing lol.

Y’all have seriously missed out if you’re just starting to watch the Heat. By far the most fun team to watch in the NBA.

Shoutout Duncan Robinson in this game. Played amazing.  Good defense, made 6 3’s. Literally is the only reason Miami wasn’t getting blown out by 25+ in the first half.

Agreed. But have been unsure whether it's just homerism on my part.

Duncan has drawn a considerable amount of attention from opposing Ds.  He's making teams adjust and plan for him and that's not nothing.

That said, he's out there to stretch the D and score 3s. He hasn't been doing that. Herro has been lights out and taking minutes.

So glad Duncan was able to make an impact. Key game for Miami, down 0-2 is going to be tough for the C's.

The Celtics have really been struggling over the past half-dozen games, but credit to Miami for hanging around and pull out the win.  Robinson played great in that first half and Jimmy Butler may be one of the most underrated stars in the league.  And Miami just feels like those old UM teams under Beilein to a degree I really didn't think was possible in the modern NBA.

Stephens totally out-coached by Spo in the second half.  A zone is a change-up that should work for a few possessions in the NBA, and then the opposing team/coach should figure it out and start exploiting it.

Stephens should have called a timeout and reset the offense to have an entry pass to the free throw lane and cutters on the baseline (really, he should have just been able to yell out a zone beating offense to his team from the sideline).  Celtics have plenty of shooters to negate a zone.

No way an NBA team, specifically one with Boston's talent and depth, should get exposed by a defensive set they have all seen since grade school. If they were getting open 3's and missing, it would be one thing, but they looked confused.

The Heat are clutch, play great defense, and have amazing chemistry and hurt you from all different angles - but this was a coaching choke job imo.

Love this Miami team. Completely different style of play but they remind me of the 2004 Pistons with the way they play as a team and every player filling his role perfectly. Butler is a tough leader like Wallace. Maybe they can shock the Lakers like the Pistons did...

Main difference between the 2004 Lakers and these Lakers is this year’s team is all on the same page and play with a joy and sense of purpose that was obviously lacking during the twilight of the Kobe Shaq era.  In retrospect it’s not surprising the Pistons clamped them down and really shoulda swept them.

At this point anything can, and already has, happened.  The Lakers should be the best team left, but all four remaining teams have shown their mettle and are all deserving of their spots.  Also, I was literally cackling Tuesday night when the Clippers completed their choke job.  Most of the credit should go to the Nuggets but it was great to see such an unlikeable group of frauds bow out like the Flippers did.
