NBA Finals Game 5 Open Thread
Can Golden State close out the Cavs tonight without Draymond Green? It should be fun to watch, regardless.
Not true. As a man (I'm Forty!), who still remembers spending summertime outside, untethered to electronic devices, riding bicycles without helmets and watching the Bad Boys win championships, I can admit that I LOVE the way Draymond Green plays.
This makes no sense. You don't want Draymond to get a lot of credit with a Warriors win, but that would also give him a second championship.

Why does he have to play better? When LeBron and Kyrie play like that, Love doesn't need to be much of a factor.

I don't know if he was the best player on the floor, but he was the best scorer. His shooting percentage has been climbing all series from 32% to 36% to 48% to 50% to 71% last night. He seems to be figuring out what he can do against Golden State. I'm not sure if he can top last night's performance on Thursday, but Golden State needs to figure something out. I think it certainly helped that Green and Bogut were out, because he could go inside and/or post up without worrying about the shot blocking of those two guys.
