The most SATISFYING Michigan win you've ever seen...

Not necessarily the biggest upset or not necessarily even a rivalry game (although that can be factored in), but a game that made you feel as if you'd just won the lottery, football or basketball.

I'll give you mine: Football: vs Penn State, 2005-killed JoePa's undefeated season

Basketball: vs. Michigan State, 2011-at East Lansing.  Sucked all of the juice out of my MSU coworkers the next day, and showed that Beilein and the Wolverines could put cracks into Izzo' machine.

2005 win over Michigan St in football, just for the fact how much shit-talking Sparty players and fans were doing the whole week how they were going to crush a struggling Michigan team that had "No Braylon to bail us out this year"

2019 ND. Other than a great play by our most formidable opponent J O’Neal, ND was completely shut down, Michigan didn’t turtle with a two score lead, Nico DPJ made great plays. That was awesome.

Runner up: second half of the 2015 Oregon state game. During that game, we transformed to good things to come. Struggled in the first half, dominated the second. Which led to a ranked BYU coming into the big house and being decimated.

Bowl game vs Florida and Tebow. Hadn't seen a Michigan team play that well in years. They thoroughly outplayed the Gators in every facet of the game.  And it seemed like they did it all for Lloyd in his last game. But it also made me wonder how good they could've been if they played like that all the time.

2006 vs ND: a lot of cackling with knowing glee. Complete beatdown of a hyped rival.

2013 vs Florida in Elite 8. Michigan was unstoppable - they seemed to hit every shot against a very good Billy Donovan-coached team. But the Gators had no chance. Michigan gets to the Final 4 for the first time in years.

2016 vs Louisville. Knocked out punk-ass Louisville and got some revenge for their ill-gotten championship a few years earlier. Michigan played hard and focused  and were sharp as hell (how about those Mo low-block post-ups?!?). They beat a good tournament team - and escorted Pitino out of the game for good (is he back now though?).

For me it was the 2008 Capital One Bowl.

Being there in person to watch Michigan squeeze out a nice victory over beloved Tim Tebow and Urban Meyer (in their own state might I add) and seeing Lloyd Carr sail off into the sunset with a final win will be something I will never forget.

Walking out of the shitty ass stadium in Orlando chanting ''It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine" with thousands of other fans was the icing on the cake!

That would have to be the big 2010 upset of #1 ranked Saginaw Valley State University in Bowling. The peak of my semi-athletic career!

Ah, hell, who am I kidding.  The real answer is the dueling columns with Michigan State in the 2006 edition of the Michigan Daily. One of the greatest troll jobs by a sports journalist of all time.

The year was 1969 and the skies were gray....Woody came to Ann Arbor with perhaps the best team he ever had and Bo beat him like a red headed step child.

I was there.  South End zone.  we even stole a football as it was the custom back then.  I even got into the game for free because some dude had too many tickets and gave me two.  Me and Alan Henessey were pleased.

Top that you eaters of horseradish!

I feel like OSU ‘03 was the most satisfying win I’ve seen.  That win has been fueling my Michigan football enthusiasm for 17 years now.  The OSU win in ‘11 wasn’t as satisfying, but it did feel damn good, and it’s kept me sane up till now.  I also saw that one in person!

Another one I saw in person was the epically-satisfying beatdown at ND in ‘06.  Absolutely fantastic seeing that smug Charlie Weis bastard get what was coming to him.  Those were the most annoying ND teams ever, what with Szamardjza the pitcher and Zbikowski the boxer.  Felt like justice running up the score.
