This game is either going to end with BU squeaking by with the smallest of margins or Minn blowing them out in the 3rd.

It seems invetible that MN is going to win.

I would love to face them again, at least we know them.

Close doesn't really scare me.

single elimination keeps me so on my toes....uhlll

I don’t think we can conclude that Michigan is “probably” better. 5 games played so far and Michigan was worse in 3, roughly even in 1, and better in 1. That 1 is the most recent and it was on the road, but this is an outstanding Minnesota team and they are quite capable of controlling the game 5-on-5, even against Michigan. If we get that chance.

Well, fuck. A common opponent in the championship… it seemed inevitable that Minnesota was going to win. They have had so many chances.

At this point all I want is our game. Boston looks screwed and the only scenario they could possibly win at this point is overtime and I can't stand the thought of waiting even longer for our game even though in theory overtime benefits us.

I know we're theoretically rooting for Boston but I found myself sitting here thinking about nothing but our game and couldn't get into this at all.

I want to win this tournament. If not us then I don't really care. I know Minnesota is a hockey rival for us but I don't hate them the way I hate Ohio and seeing them lose today would do absolutely nothing to make me feel better in the event we lose.

Boston would've been easier win next round but we can beat both of these teams.... And we can also lose to both. The only thing that matters is what we do. If we play at our best we will not lose. If we don't, well.... let's not find out.

Feels like there was damn near a full letter grade separating those teams.  A+/B+ maybe, but Minny clearly the better squad.  Didn't love some of the penalties, but that wasn't the story tonight.
