Great game
We seem to be trying hard to lose this game.
Agreed. Never saw so many carelss turnovers and dumb plays. Just brutal. Women's basketball doesn't usually bother me, but I guess I'm spoiled by Beilein teams and their competence with the basketball and on defense.
Nice win, advancing to the semi finals now!
First time in the semis since 2001
That should secure an at large bid. We play the winner of Iowa and Indiana. Even if Indiana upsets Iowa and we lost to the Hoosiers, they’re a solid enough team that a loss isn’t detrimental to anything other than our seeding. A win in the semifinals and we could possibly move off the 8 seed and onto a 7. While it was an ugly game, it was a win and that’s what mattered.
They are going to play Maryland
Shoot, looked at the bracket wrong. That’s a probably loss, so we are looking at that 8-9 line
So the MGoThread calling for Barnes Arico to be fired was our Maverick Morgan moment?
Based on bad Wisconsin is and how much we struggled to beat them if I were KBA I wouldn't put this game on her resume. We would have lost if a foul on Wisconsin at the end of the first quarter was called only after video review showed a split second left on the clock or if Wisconsin's star player had converted both of her free throws at the end of regulation. Still glad they pulled out the W.
Eh, not so fast my friend...a lot of parody in Big10. Wisconsin was on a roll and had nothing to lose

Oh geez...
I consider the officiating in the B1G to be a parody.
If I could, I'd give it a pair of T's
Strange that the better seed lost every game in the 2nd round.
Congrats keep it rolling!
8/9 seed is a nightmare in women's bball. There is such a disparity between the 1-2 seeds and everyone else. An upset over Maryland would be awesome. Michigan has beaten Iowa and Rutgers this season.
After watching the turtles take care of business with Staee an upset would be more than awesome.
Usually there is a big gap between the 1s and 2s, but this year not so much. I don't think it really matters where they end up, it's probably going to be either 9 or 10 seed. Assuming Maryland beats them I think a 10 is most likely, the B1G is pretty much trash this year. An 11 may be better for them.
Hail to the Victors! Survive and advance.
