The box score for this game is so weird. Michigan scored 81 points despite only making 3 threes (and none in the 2nd half). Michigan shot 29 free throws. Maryland had 12 more field goal attempts.

Hopefully this helps Michigan's young players realize that playing defense leads to offense. The inconsistency is what has killed Michigan this year. In Big Ten play this effort has to be brought every night.

I was there!  Atmosphere was a little flat without the students but arena was more full than expected due to it being a special Kids Day. Crowd seemed almost shocked throughout the first half.  I kept looking up at the scoreboard in disbelief. If they can continue to play this way they’ll be just fine. Go Blue!

Howard and the basketball team took back their bottle of mojo that they loaned to the football program all season.
