This team just isn't good right now. They can't shoot and they make disastrous mistakes all the time.

This team is disorganized, sloppy and unfocused.

This team looks just completely lost right now.  Arizona is playing great defense.

Oh man they look so bad. The lack of spacing and people being scared to shoot is a problem.

Why is college officiating so inconsistent and terrible? 

Really lacking athleticism. Not good if they can’t shoot. 

houstan is very disappointing thus far this season. needs to play smarter and let the game come to him. he forces too many things out there right now.

I will say sure feels like a couple of these misses are going off Arizona and they are just giving it back to them.

I mean... Long season and all... But this team has got some problems.  Can't shoot, can't rebound, turning the ball over like crazy, committing a lot of unnecessary fouls including an absurd amount of charges... Looks like a young team much moreso than recent young teams we've had.  Guard play wins in March and we don't have much of it.

Let’s try this without houstan on the floor

10 turnovers and 0-7 from 3. Just an awful half of basketball. Houstan is looking like a 5-star Nunez out there.

Houstan is just not ready for this level.

Honestly, we're lucky it's only a 8 point deficit. I don't even know how we got to 29 points. Feel like we had more charges than made jumpers. 

The fact they've played as poorly as they have in this first half and are only down 8 is pretty amazing.

We'd better see a MUCH better second half effort.

I swear if I see another head fake and drive... Just shoot the damn ball, if they don't go in, they don't go in. Stop trying to drive. You have an open shot.

Negative:

Team has played like trash in all facets of the game.

Positive:

Somehow, only down 8 at the half and time left to turn it around. 

I'm mildly amazed we're only down eight.   We've had that many airballs and given away that many in fast-break points, so all things considered not a bad scoreline.  

Need quicker triggers on the shot and to avoid over-passing.  

Moussa has to start.  Need his energy out the gate because this team is lacking fight out the gate.

Wow, this team does not have its shit together. Arizona is good, but damn they do not look good right now.

Who knew brushing your teeth got people in the mood to fuck ASAP

Terrible spacing, dumb passes, mental lapses, bad rotations.

There's no way we win the B1G this year playing like this. 

Hopefully the team eventually grows up and gels.

Last year we had oversized guards often playing the 4 or even the 5. This year we have undersized forwards playing guard... The difference in ball movement and control is night and day.

What is wrong with this basketball team right now? They have a long way to go to get back to where we were last year. Very frustrating to watch right now knowing they have so much talent on the court. 

I'm still stuck on Houstan being so bad. It just doesn't make sense how you can be so horrible from distance. I also thought the returning guys would improve some, but besides Eli and Dickinson everyone else looks the same or even a little worse in Johns' case. Jones has also been disappointing since he's worse than Eli in every way pretty much.

Youve got to counter these huge lineups with lightsout 3 point shooting.
