Is Gold Jerry, Gold! A season ticket wait list again along with every suite being sold is a credit to both Hackett and Harbaugh!

I guessed between 60K and 70K. Sidelines Looked a little more full than it was I guess; as it tends to when there's a little extra room to spread out.

I just got back. Fun day. Perfect weather.

Wish the game had more scoring but that's okay: it was an actual spring game! That itself was exciting.

My photo I tweeted got put up on the scoreboard.

That crowd was every bit of 60,000. Crisler lot was doubled up and we had the grill going like an actual game.

Most importantly: HARBAUGH! When he came out, he got a standing ovation. It was perfect.

And Norfleet was dancing to Atomic Dog during warmups.

They used to do it here in DC to estimate crowd sizes at events on the mall, and got quite good at it.

Then they had to stop because every interest group would claim a million people for their rally and get pissed off when the National Park Service published that it was only 15,000.

I'm about to post a couple of videos of the crowd. It was amazing to me how many there were. Blew 2009 away.

That cold cutting wind was unnecessary but not to bad in the sun. Pioneer was pretty full but always a hard guess with the golf course not in the fold.

Interesting to see what an actual game impact was made vs just HARBAUGHHH

I would say at least 70000 the east and west sides were 95% full and the south end zone was packed up until section 75. North end zone had some gaps but still about half full

was a big part of that 60,000---not so much for the actual head count/estimate, but for showing what real music (as opposed to piped-in RAWK) adds to a college football game atmosphere. Hats off for a job well done!

amusing that the Debbie downers and trolls kept saying there would be way less than 40k attendance. So what happens?   Record attendance for a spring game. Now they want to nitpick the performance of the team.  I say shut up, sit down, it's going to be a fun ride!

This is certainly an accurate, if not conservative, estimate. With everyone pushed together the crowd certainly would have filled the original lower bowl, which is 72k.

I sat at the top of the south end zone. Fans were still filing in at a good rate at the half, just as a good amount of fans started to leave. 70k easily

I agree. Lots of people were abnormally late because they assumed they could get through Ann Arbor the same way we have for the last 5 years of spring games. But you absolutely could not. Freeways in and the main streets downtown were jammed. At its highest point I thought it was 70K, but if you count the incoming after some had already left, it was that easily

The off ramp from the highways (ex Ann Saline road) was backed up on to the highway 2 hours before the game. I was on the way to ZIngerman's roadhouse and was looping round I-94.

Parked at Pioneer High School and while it was not a typical football saturday, all of the standard lots were full and there were 4 rows of cars on the grass.

In the end I'm glad both Harbaugh and Hackett seem to realize that the key is the quality of the team on the field and not the add-ons.

It was run like an actual game except there was no punting or kickoff. There were offsides and a full set of referees.

One thing I noticed - without TV timeouts the game goes pretty fast!
