was their absolute belief in them. I was wrong about Sankey and his ACC counterpart. They have done a good job. The one thing I found, not at all surprising, was MSU and SEC fans joining together in voicing their hatred toward all things Michigan. Gotta fucking love it, but still saddened somewhat. I am 63 and honestly don't know how many seasons I have left. before I go off to that great astroturf in the sky, do you think it unreasonable of me to expect, not necessarily something as dramatic as a shift, but possibly a modicum of understanding on their part as to how really fucking dumb they present themselve to be? Ok. gotcha. I won't hold my breath.

If it's reflected here, sorry. It is  never my intention to offend anyone, but when I listen to and/or read the same bullshit daily, like any of you, I am prone to periods of piss-offedediness.

Hey Everyone, SEC and beyond. We are all aware of what coaching is. Of course he is using these camps for recruiting, but I ask how can he create an advantage, as seems to be your main point of contention? The standards of Michigan and a large number of Big X schools allows our coaches to go forward without any thought to NCAA bylaws, rules, regulations, etc., because those standards are built upon the foundation of "honest play, obey rules, good, clean American sports with everyone playing within the same set of "understood by the nature of man"  rules that exist without having to be spelled out.

I apologize to fans of other conferences that do not understand or appreciate the level of love and dedication our coach has for this sport. It's accompanied by an energy level not often found in a man of his age. He, more than likely, suffers from some sort of OCD. He is absolutely obsessed with this game and his energy does not allow for anything other than promoting college football to the highest possible level he can imagine. Without understanding this, you cannot understand the man. . There are coaches in the SEC, some in the Big X, some at the NFL level that are every bit his equal as to simply coaching the game, but not many - possibly none - that share his passion for promoting the game, attempting to find ways to get young men, who without his initative, might never have a chance to play cfb, no matter the level. That's all you really need to grasp.

This guy is rather bright. He is aware he will never gain a "recruiting advantage" down there, simply by the fact his moral compass, as mentioned above, and an inarguable quest that everyone play the game under the same rules, fair by nature, and not to be tainted by incentives outside the educational gifts inherent in an athletic scholarship, prohibit him from holding any advantage unless it is gained by enlisting recruits with the same understanding, passion and "highly competitive nature within the rules," attitude he brings to work everyday.

The only challenge he is making is, "Understand counterparts, I don't believe any of you are capable of outworking me." That's it. That is what he's about. And if this bothers you, I suggest you contact the AD at whatever school you are a fan of and demand your coach put forth as much effort as he does. Because the only advantage Harbaugh will gain will be a product of a passion and work ethic, shared only by but a few. His thought process doesn't even allow for him to contemplate doing anything outside the rules. So, hopefully this alleviates your concerns. Anything he accomplishes will be the result of his work ethic and the understanding of high school athletes if they choose to play for him they will receive nothing but the absolute best effort he and his staff are capable of. If this can be construed, in any manner whatsoever as being unfair, I would love to learn why.  Thank you.
