Michigan at Penn St won't be a night game
Big Noon:
Will likely dominate the time slot.
swing and a miss
Give 'em a break, would ya? It's obvious they meant to say College Park.
Now you are just trying to confuse me (it kind of worked). This is not to be confused with University Park, State College, Pennsylvania.
It would be neat to have a home and away series with TAM.I heard they were suppose to expand their stadium to beat out the Big House? Like a 140,000 seats.
Like it! Will probably be in Vegas for the week so will enjoy (Vegas is 3 hrs behind A2 time). Maybe with breakfast and a brew (or 2).
Really disappointed by this. Planning to go, and noon’s just not as fun of a game day. Why don’t we ever play at 3:30 anymore?
For home games, noon is okay with me - 3:30 is preferred, but it’s fine. For road trips though, 3:30 is excellent. We like to sample the town the night before, of course.
It is strange we see like no 3:30 games before, I feel like it must be a media dead spot and we are victims of our own success in that regard. It doesn’t help that Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff has been really successful, especially when we are slotted for it. I’m hoping the new media rights gives us a few more 3:30 games, but we’ll see.
You'd figure Michigan would want more 3:30 games at home, especially in September when the days are warmer. 3:30 start would give the team some shade most of the game.
You know what's a fun game day? Winning.
It's a good thing Beaver Stadium has a separate visitor's tunnel. Otherwise, things could get pretty weird
Someone else already said it on Twitter --- but in other words, the price of working WiFi at Beaver Stadium is $10K/year.
Somewhere in the U-M athletic department, a Finance Director saw this and got very excited.
So they get to hang out in the Beaver's Tunnel? Sounds okay... I'm sure our rooting interest in the game would swell to epic proportions if we could hang out there, too...
So... will it heretofore be referred to as "The Beaver's Beaver"?
That helps for sure..
Great, we always play better there during the day and not at night during their whiteout. Whiteout game must be WVU or Iowa? They play at OSU this year.
I believe the white out is against Iowa when they come to town. Thanks, Iowa!
A day game in Happy Valley is much more attractive than an evening kickoff.
JH won day games as coach in 2015 and 2021. Lost at night in 2017 and 2019. Noon works for me. We can get back to hotel and sports bar in plenty of time for MSU vs OSU.I highly recommend going to Happy Valley. It is a cool venue.
Tried for tickets but didn’t have enough donation points. Could look at Stubhub or other
