Kilgore tweeted out the offer and it was reported by Allen Trieu. It's rare to see Michigan offer a JUCO, but makes sense considering the position. I don't know much about JUCO rankings but he's currently unranked out of Kilgore JC in Texas. His other notable offers seem to be Ole Miss and Maryland.

I’m assuming Ambry comes back so we have a couple solid starters between he and Gray, but after that it’s a mystery. Gotta find a couple guys who can play between Gemon Green, JKP and the freshmen. Also really need to pull a late gem or two in recruiting.

Its kind of crazy that the staff has struggled so much recently recruiting certain positions (offensive tackle in 2018, defensive tackle in 2018 and 2020 and corner in 2020). Its time to hire some guys in the recruiting department to close the gap with OSU. The gap wasnt that large in 2016 and 2017. I think we had 7 top 100 players in 2017.

Michigan typically has a really good class every other year under Harbaugh. I don't count 2015 because it was late. 2016 decent class, 17 really good class, 18 decent class, 2019 really good class. 2020 is shaping up similar to 2016 and 18. Look how 2019 is already starting, its gonna be another good one. What we need to do is to make sure we keep enough upper classmen where dont have to recruit 25-28 on any given year.

If we are going to beat Ohio State, we need something more than decent recruiting. The fact that we are looking at Juco CBs doesn't give me the warm fuzzies. In 2016 and 2017, Zordich was the CB coach and we got Lavert Hill, David Long, Ambry Thomas etc. to commit to us who were all consensus 4 stars. If we lose one defensive tackle to injury, we are doomed next year. That is the same position we were in this season without Dwumfour vs Wisconsin.
