I'll be in Vegas so it'll be nice to not have to watch a game at 9:00 local time

My son and I will be in Vegas too!

I’ll be on a road trip. Good listening to pass the time on the interstate.

I love 3:30 starts and wish we could have more. The game against OSU in a few weeks should be a 3:30 kick. The best of both worlds - sunny afternoon in the first half, and night game atmosphere in the second half. I mean, how much fun is it to celebrate a big win under the lights, anyway?
Give us a 3:30 kick against OSU, Fox!!!

Alabama-Auburn is usually the 3:30 CBS game so Fox is always going to avoid competing against that game and keep UM-OSU at noon
November 8th, 2021 at 1:49 PM ^
It's the schools that want it at noon. Michigan-OSU draws larger viewership based largely on being the game of interest in two large states compared to just a single smallish state.
Obviously, CBS and Fox would rather not compete with those two but if Fox were to move to 3:30, it's likely CBS would try to move to noon. They'd be more likely to react to the M-OSU schedule than the other way around.

My brother and I are headed to this game, any good tips on places to eat and where to park etc??
November 8th, 2021 at 12:51 PM ^
Where will you be coming from? I typically take the Metro in. It only gets you 1.5 mi from the stadium but not a bad walk if the weather is good. Otherwise, you can Uber that last 1.5 miles.

I will be coming in from the south I live in NC...and I don't mind walking especially if like you said the weather is good!

We have taken the metro from DC before. There are free buses that take you from the metro stop to the stadium and back. Lots of Michigan fans on the buses especially if you stay until the end because the Maryland fans leave early.

You can prepay and buy a parking permit. Been there for each game and it is underwhelming as far as tailgating. Parked in lot 11B before and plan to this year. Can walk to Looney's Pub and catch some of the MSU and OSU game if you are inclined. Purchase permit: UMD Online Reservations - Reserve Parking (aceparking.com)

I've been to Maryland a number of times ( I live in Northern VA) and I've never had a problem finding a parking spot. There are a number of places right outside of campus with places to park for no more than $20.
There will be lots of good places to eat in DC, depending on how long you're staying. I'd recommend grabbing something on the way up, going to the game, and then heading into the city for dinner.

A 3:30 start is great when you are at a venue where there is a vibe like Madison, Lincoln or Ann Arbor. Gives you time to grab lunch, explore the pre-game environment and grab dinner after the game. There is no vibe in College Park. The 3:30 start in November means that most of the game will be in the dark and it will get cold. It will also be late getting back to DC for dinner after the game.
