There was a program on tonight on BTN - "Michigan Man", a really interesting bio on Red. I only caught the last 20 mins; does anyone know how to find when it airs again? Searched on BTN.com but no joy.

This would make a great double feature with Unbelievable, A Pet Wolverine. The plot: A wolverine appears at Bruce Willis' door one morning. Willis, a recovering alcoholic, bonds with the wolverine. The wolverine establishes a psychic connection with Willis. It turns out that the wolverine is inhabited by the soul of Willis' late wife, who had been electrocuted in a swimming pool accident. All is going well until the wolverine eats Willis' face off. Director: M. Night Shyamalan.

Saw the entire program earlier, just before the hockey pregame.  Great tribute to Red’s deeply rooted character and the positive effect character has on his players and their growth as men.  Didn’t mention his getting popped for taking a piss in the alley by Banfields East in the late ‘80s, though.

Watched it yesterday. I highly recommend it. Can’t believe he wok the Stanley cup and two days later was in class at Michigan and no one knew who he was.

I thought it was great.  I already knew some of Red's backstory, but wasn't fully aware of his drive and perseverance!

As good of a coach as he was, there's no doubt that his greatest impact has been in helping many young Wolverines set themselves up for a successful life down whatever path they chose.
