Michigan Defensive TD against ND few years back

Submitted by will on
3 years ago at the ND UM game in South Bend one of our players had a defensive touchdown where he slammed a ND player to the ground on the way to his TD.. who was this and where can I find a video? I want to say it was Lamarr Woodley but I'm not positive.

The first was Prescott Burgess a minute into the game on an INT. The last was after Brady Quinn went YAKETY SAX, Woodley picked up the fumble, outran the ND defense, and then plowed a defender at around the 10, I believe. Our favorite ND announcers esteemed themselves on the call: "It looks like he's gonna run out of gas!" "Touchdown! He didn't run out soon enough." Enjoy last Saturday, you shilling losers.

It was in fact Woodley. Quinn fumbled yakety sax style when the ball slipped out of his hand attempting a pass. Woodley scooped it up and ran 65 or so yards and stiff armed a ND tight end (want to say it was John Carlson) in the process. Just search Michigan Notre Dame 2006 and it will be toward the end of most highlights. It was our last score.

So I found a video of it, but my memories must be confused. I seem to remember him (or the player in my mind) literally throwing down the player trying to tackle him shortly before scoring.. Am I thinking of another game? Reason it came up - the AP highlight against cleveland last night - I saw Ive seen better.. and now am failing to find the youtube to back up my memory..
