Michigan basketball at #2 UCLA open thread (ESPN 2)

He's good but he's not usually this ridiculous.  UCLA made some seriously insane shots in that half.  Which makes sense because of course when our offense is hitting on all cylinders, the universe would have to balance it by having the other team be otherworldly.

The only reason we don't have the lead right now is UCLA making a ton of shots that would not have been made any other time.

but add the bad call Wagner being straight up to the tally.

About the refs not the game. No way you are watching this and not seeing the blatant misses. The foul on DJ Wilson on the 3 really shifted momentum and gave them 2 points they shouldn't have. The travel gave them 3 points and the blatant offensive foul that wasn't called that gave then 2 points. It's huge. That's difference between a 50-50 game a 50-43 score. This game is huge for NCCA tourny implications so yes I'm going to complain if the officiating is not only bad but lop-sided. 

I think Beilein is great but this is a dumb argument. Any coach can put together a gameplan for a good half of play

I don't know what Beilein has to do with us hitting 75 percent of our threes. I'd give him more credit if we were driving to the hoop consistently and rebounding well.

We went 12-16 from three against a team that is really, really bad at perimeter defense.  Beilein doesn't have much to do with either of those things.  I'm not saying he's not elite (he probably is at all things but recruiting) but that hald doesn't prove it.
