Mgobaby Legendary Michigan Names
My wife and I are due for our first child in the first week of May so we are coming into the home stretch. After some intial scares with the pregnancy, we have been given a clean bill of health and all thumbs up.
So in honor of that and Brian's new addition, let's talk some ideas for Michigan legacy baby names! My wife and I are both alumni, but I'm a much bigger fan than her. So just flat out going "Bo" is probably not going to happen. I like Fielding and Woodson for first names, but have yet to run it by the better half. Oh, I should mention, we are not finding out the sex so, could go either way!

Marques Lion Detwolverine2009.
It has a natural ring to it. Plus it works equally well for a boy or for a girl.
(When our first was in utero, we referred to him as "Gator" on the theory that if the baby was a boy originally named "Gator", he'd be bad ass. And if the baby was girl originally named "Gator", she'd be even more bad ass. All driven by our discomfort with calling our baby-in-the-works "it".)

my parents in utero name for me was Gater as a portmanteau of their first names, Gail and Peter.
Unfortunately for the badass factor it did not stick, but i did come away with Anthony as a middle name in reverence of #1

I mean, people (of course) should name their baby as they see fit. But Brady Hoke was only here a few years, and his tenure ended on such a sour note.
I think it's very generous of you and your wife to look past all that. Coach Hoke obviously loved Michigan and Ann Arbor, so it kind of makes sense.

Or you could go with an Asian name that makes things really easy, like Hai Yu. "Hai Yu, get your ass over here and mow the lawn. Hai Yu, your room is filthy. Clean it. Hai Yu, good luck in college. Your mother and I are moving to South America."
