META: Sexybits reprieve???
Apparently the interwebs did not take kindly to Google trying to replicate Disney's clean-up of Times Square and they have relented on the no-sexybits rule.

MGoOverlords - any chance of a reprieve when celebration is called for?
- OR -Did I misunderstand Google's change?
Thanks
(I'm not really this hard up for female content, but the board does seem to come to life for some beefcake / Kate Upton)

As Moe pointed out, THIS DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH GOOGLE ADS.
It applies to their Blogger service. No sexy bits allowed.

You DO realize that not every topic is made more interesting by a GIF, video, or meme?

Really, wow, you may have a point there....
But, then again you may not.

Is there a loophole in the Google policy for sexybits that are not blatantly sexybits to the eyes, but could potentially be sexybits to the imagination of somebody like Jacobear?

Bring back the jiggle!

I would like to commend the blog - for what it is worth - in complying with the demands of this site's associated services and more or less self-policing when it comes to the content of photos on the site. I realize it is not popular with a fair number of people, but I have admired the restraint shown and the willingness to cooperate. Community spirit indeed, and it is appreciated - I think I've only had to take down one or two photos that might violate the AdSense policy and it has been over a week now, I believe.

Kate is glad to help MGoBlog stay clean.
BTW, there are only 2 pictures on the entire internet of Kate Upton with clothes on. I checked.

Boo.
Sexybits are like internet bacon. They make pretty much everything better.

People at work or at home can't make out "shit" or "ass" from five feet away, but sexybits are much easier to spot. Since I have to go into the workplace more now and I have little girls, I have been able to read the comments more. With all due respect to the front page articles, I enjoy the user posts and comments so much more. You guys and ladies make this site "sticky" and in a non-porny way.

I support the Sexybits ban. Anyone who wants sexybits knows where to find them. I am very thankful not to find them here. I'll check mgoblog periodically during the work day. The last thing I need is for a member of my church or visitor to my office to see some jiggly sexy bits bouncing across my monitor. That would pretty much end mgoblog usage for me, among other things.

I don't think bikini photos were ever against the rules. If it can be on the cover of the Swimsuit Issue I don't see why it would be a problem. The Kate Upton gifs are shown on TMZ (which is on Fox at 6pm) all the time. Look at the Carls Jr. commercials. There is nothing wrong with them.

I find the cut of that coat too revealing for my taste.
