Matt Jones weighs in on Hugh Freeze and Harbaugh on Finebaum's show

Submitted by poseidon7902 on

Finebaum does his best to villify Harbaugh for picking on poor Hugh Freeze, but Matt isn't having any of it.

To note, Matt Jones really isn't an important name, but his stance is more the point.

took Finebaum by surprise because for the last week hes been lining up every SEC analyst, reporter or anyone affilitated with the SEC to bash Harbaugh and Michigan...its been nonstop//These people who live inside the SEC have no idea how poorly they are thought of around the country...down here WINNING is the ONLY thing that matters and they will do anything to win..Cheating is rampant in the SEC and we all know it

I think he knows where his bread is buttered and knows he has to play to that right now. SEC fans hate the "help the kids" argument and have "Big Boy football" as their go to rationalization. The comments section on any of these article are really frustrating.

Thanks for posting. Most people on Paul ' s show sounds as if they've got food stuck between their two teeth but Matt is smart and I like that he goes against the ol boy's network.  Notice he also picked on Hugh Freeze. And yes, my parents came from Kentucky but thankfully they brought me up in the land of Meeechigan.

Finebaum can have an opinion but the exaggerated excuse of saying it shouldn't be a crime for Hugh Freeze to want to spend time with his kids is ridiculous.

If a coach doesn't want to have satellite camps, then don't. If it is too much of a strain on his personal time, so be it but that doesn't call for the elimination of the practice for those coaches that want to. Such a selfish mentality.

He's perhaps the biggest douche bag on radio. Yes, he agreed with Harbaugh - hooray.

Listen to this guy's show for 5 minutes and you'll hate his guts forever. He's rude to callers, he's arrogant and if a caller challenges him, he cuts the caller off and acts like the smelly cunt that he is.
Fuck that guy.

Reason is definately needed in regards to the NCAA/SEC.  Finebaum is a homer and should not represent college football as an unbiased reporter for ESPN.  This is not about the overpriced, lazy, SEC coaches this should be about young men that deserve this opportunity.
